TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
When your company installed the propane tank and swimming pool heater 2 seasons ago, there was a leak at the time of installation. I was told it had been fixed, even though I noticed how fast the propane tank emptied. The only device connected to the tank is the swimming pool heater (all else in home is electric and there is no gas grill).
At the end of the winter season last year I had your company fill the propane tank and then I promptly shut off the swimming pool heater. In this way I knew that when my company came to visit this winter season I would be ready to have the heater heat the pool. When they arrived in late March of this year I tried to cut on the heater and it would not start. I found out that even though the gauge on the top of the propane tank said it had propane, there was none in the tank. The gauge had stuck showing propane in the tank but none was there.
I called your company for a service man to come and see what was wrong. He worked for some time and just before leaving found the red pressure reducing valve on top of the tank to have an intermittent leak. That is how the propane had leaked out of the tank. You can verify this with your service man.
I called and explained all of this to a lady at your company and explained I should not be responsible for filling the tank when I did not use the propane. Later I explained it again to a man at your company and how I should not and will not pay for the refill of the tank when it was emptied due to defective equipment installed and owned by your company.
I enclose the statement sent to me for the filling of the tank after your service person found and fixed the leak.

when we needed propane, we called this company. The initial contact was very positive and friendly. They came out. accessed the situation, determined we needed a part they did not have, they said they would order it, come back and install it then fill the tank. They called sometime later and said they had the part and scheduled an appointment and never showed up. I received a bill. I called the office and was told that every trip would be billed, even if it was to do one job. I told him that I assumed that I was paying for the job, not by the trips to do the job. I told them this was unacceptable, the man who I was talking with said that that was the way they did things and nothing would change. I expressed concern that by paying for each and every visit to do one job, that I could end up paying a small fortune. I said at that point that we would feel better using another company. He said that was fine. Never at any time was this young man obnoxious or disrespectful, but he was flippant. About a week later the company shows up to do the job. Apparantly no one had been told of the conversation. We explained the situation and ask them to leave.
The gentleman was very nice and apologetic. We requested a call from the office since this man was only a technician. He was not aware of any problems we had had with the young man in the office . We have heard nothing back from them, today we received a bill, with a late fee.
