Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Comp U Photo regarding complaint ID [redacted].I went back to the store and was told they do not take returns. Sign was posted well above normal sight lines, probably conforming...
with the law, but definitely in an obscure place to make it difficult to see. Clearly their intent is to deceive tourists. The merchandise all had ridiculous price tags which, I am sure would have been quoted had income in with a [redacted]. As it was, the prices were over 100 percent high, when I checked later. I mostly feel stupid. But tourists will be sure to be ripped off by these crooks. Sincerely,Laurence Klurfeld
Review: I purchased three items totaling $95 at 1 PM. I was concerned about the pricing and checked after leaving the store and saw that they had marked up the price by over 200%. I returned at 5 PM to return the items for a credit and they refused to offer a refund for items that were purchased hours before and were still in their original packaging.
I understand that this business makes its money by selling off-brand items at inflated prices to tourists. I should have known better, but thought how bad could it be?Desired Settlement: I will be filing a dispute with [redacted] on the purchase, and expect to get a credit to my account and then return the items. I would like them to honor a return without a hassle. I imagine that most of their clientele don't have the luxury of coming back to the store for the return.
