This was an unfortunate turn out We did nothing wrong Typically a request for medical records takes hours or more But we do try On we received a request for medical records We faxed these @ pm on the same date This was hours prior to the
consumer's pm appointment We did get a call back asking for x-rays but this was not part of the original request We did send them the requested x-rays on the same date @ 5:pm X-rays were not part of the original request If they are not requested, we do not send them There was no misdiagnosis The consumer thought it was allergy related and wanted allergy medication I don't feel we did anything wrong to warrant offering a refund

I am rejecting this response because: It was a misdiagnosis, my dog did not have mega-esophagus, she had cancer. I did not ask for allergy meds though I did ask if it could be an allergy, because she did not have the symptoms of mega esophagus according to the literature they sent me home with. When I told them I was going to see another vet, I was told to ask the Vet to call and the records, including the xrayswould be sent right over. They said nothing about giving them hour notice. While it may be their rule, it does little good if they don't share that information. The records sent at 2pm were pages of over It was too big of a file to send over a fax. They were asked repeatedly for them to emailed rather than faxed, each time they said they would do it right away but did not. Same with the xrays, prior to 5pm they said they would send them right over but did not
