I am rejecting this response because:I'm going to need an Month Warranty on the 90,000/mile engine to ensure that when my son takes his car to get it inspected in the Fall of 2017, the car will pass the inspectionI stated that because, the check engine light came on the same day that my son picked up the car and an sensor had to be installed on the engine (by Compare) without any charge to my sonAs of today (12/30), the check engine light is back on and my son has to yet again take the car back to the shop to see what the problem is this time tooThe MO inspection sites will "Fail" a car if the check engine light is on, and with me not knowing the history of the 90,mile motor, I need the warranty to extend beyond months in case there is a problem with the motor. If the Month Warranty will be agreed upon by Compare, I will settle this matter once and for all, but only after the check engine (on) light problem is looked into by Compare (yet again)

The motor we installed is good and still running. The original motor had metal shavings in it and over 150,000 miles. Three motors were available when the customer initially contacted us, but when she called back we only had the 90,000 mile motor available. I will extend the warranty 6 months.

Normally a warranty is 30 days; we extended it to 3 months. I will give her a 6 month warranty on the engine but only on the condition that it she has to bring the car in to me every 3,000 miles to be serviced and I will pay for the oil changes. I will not offer anything more.  If she does not bring it in every 3,000 miles it will void the warranty.
