Desired Outcome

I attempted to cancel my service to begin November 1 in the middle to beginning of October, I was told that I had no choice but to pay for the entire month Of November, and was advised that it was too late in the month to cancel. It was approximately 12 days into the month at this time. The female made me pay another month even though I requested this be cancelled as of November 1. I was then told to bring my pass back which had a $20 deposit on it to which I did. I took time out of my day today on December 12 to do so. I was not informed there was a time limit to do so, which apparently was seven days from the date of the deactivation, the hours of operation at this facility did not give me the ample amount of time to bring this back. At the time I returned he pass and was told I would not get the deposit refunded, I requested to keep the pass because of my deposit being held from me, my request was declined. The accociate said that I had no choice but to return it without any deposit. The female associate stated that it was their property and I was not entitled to keep said pass with or without deposit returned. She then fell back once again on the terms and conditions allegedly outlined in the document upon activation none of which was actually explained at signing, nor do I feel that it's absolutely necessary to charge patrons an extra month including keeping the deposit other return card that was only "days late". The terms and conditions this business have on their patrons are absurd and should be reviewed.

Our monthly parking agreement is available on our webpage www.comparkservices.com. The terms and conditions are printed on page two (2) of the agreement, please download the agreement so that you can see these terms and conditions. When issuing a parking pass we always go through the cancellation process along with the deposit refund information. This was done with the customer when he set up his monthly parking with the company on May 16, 2016. The customer came into the office on Oct. 17, 2017 requesting to cancel his monthly parking as of Oct. 31, 2017. He was informed as per his signed agreement that we require one full calendar month's written notice when cancelling the monthly agreement. Therefore we could cancel his parking as of Nov. 30, 2017 as his last day of parking, we would take his last payment on Nov. 1, 2017 as all monthly customers are billed on the first of every month. He was upset about this but was shown the terms and conditions on his signed agreement and was also reminded that his monthly pass had to be returned to the office by no later than Dec. 7, 2017 for the deposit refund. Which is also written in the terms and conditions of the monthly agreement. There is also a memo posted in the office stating the cancellation and deposit refund terms. On Dec. 12, 2017 this customer returned the parking pass to the office and was informed that the pass was to be returned by no later than Dec. 7, 2017 for the deposit refund. Therefore the deposit was forfeited also in the terms and conditions it states that the parking permits are the property of Compark (Complete Parking Services Inc.) When the customer was informed that the deposit was forfeited he asked to have the permit given back to him. He was informed then, that as per the signed agreemnet the permit is the property of Compark. Therefore the permit was not given back to him.
The office administrator has been working for our company for over 4 years and has always went through the cancellation and deposit refund information with all monthly customers when the monthly parking is set up with each customer. Also this information is in the terms and conditions of the signed agreement.
Our company has simply followed the terms and conditions on our monthly agreement, ***. There are a large number of monthly customers on our direct withdrawl and also recurring credit card systems for monthly charges and it takes some time to add/remove customers from these systems thus the reason for the full calendar month's notice.
The completed agreement, dated cancellation form and signed permit refund sheet for this customer are available if required by Revdex.com as proof of our response to this complaint.

The information provided in the above response is not entirely true. The sevice agent did not explain anything about a refund deadline for the car. Once again this entire response is using their terms and conditions as a fall back. If you are to look at the hours of operations regarding the office. It would be close to impossible for anyone that works regular business hours to attend their office in 7 days. They requested over 1.5 months and a full months payment before I was able to cancel the service and had only given me a 7 day deadline to produce their swipe card. I would never recommend this company to an parking patron in the future. Especially after reading this response.

As per my previous response, I understand the customer's frustration but under the circumstances I have followed the rules and regulations.
Legal paperwork was signed and agreed to, therefore I feel that this matter is closed.
