outlining our scope of work. It is our policy to proceed on these small jobs with verbal authorization, which we believed we had. It is clear from this complaint that there was a miscommunication between Ms. [redacted] and our office. We did the work as outlined in our proposal, including notifying all of the neighbors. We did not, however, bill Ms. [redacted] for our work, so the "billing or collection issue" complaint isn't accurate. She was advised on the phone that our billing for July isn't typically sent out until August 1, however, she was never told that we would be billing her. We have since emailed Ms. [redacted] (enclosed) advising her that she would not be billed for our work. We have also asked her to withdraw her complaint.
