Compassion Movers

Compassion Movers were absolutely amazing. Adam and Claudia made sure I didn't lift a finger during the move. Claudia has the best spirit and she spreads positive energy. Adam is a big ol' dude but when we met I realized he's such a sweet heart. Their name says it all. Tru CompassionMovers.

Movers damaged over $10,000 of furniture & appliances. They have not repaired any of the damaged items, & they have not compensated us in any way.
Compassion Movers (Adam and Claudia and their team) moved our items from our house in Round Rock, TX, June 23-24, 2019, to a storage unit in Fate, TX. They then moved our items from the storage unit to our house in Rowlett, TX, on October 31, 2019. They were paid $2,000 to move our items to the storage unit and then $1,500 to move our items to our house in Rowlett.

They dropped and broke the headboard to a bed when they were loading it on the truck at the storage unit. The lead guy took a picture of it. He said they had a furniture repair person who would glue it back together. They also did major damage to our almost new $1,100 TV console, put several creases in the door of our almost new refrigerator, and they damaged a stereo speaker, our dining room table, two dining room table chairs, two bookcases, an office chair, a wood custom-made dog ramp for our bed, a nightstand, our master bedroom dresser, the dryer, a coffee table, an end table, a side table, and two other tables.

Most of my phone calls about getting the furniture repaired were not answered. I eventually got a hold of Claudia. She said she would come inspect the damaged items and take pictures. We made an appointment for 9:30-10:00 a.m., November 27, but Claudia didn't show up. She didn't even call or text to say she would need to reschedule. I sent her a text message after the no-show, and said she would come that evening. Once again, she didn't show up, and she didn't call or text to let me know she wouldn't be coming. It's been a month since we moved into our new house, and no visit from Adam or Claudia, no furniture repairs, and no compensation.

The owners of Compassion Movers Adam and Claudia had promised to fixed damaged furnitures (in 2 weeks frame-will send a repair person) from moved on June 22, 2019 such as leather chair, bad scratches on dining chairs, dining room legs, bad chipped coffee table legs and replace or fix badly chipped console table that they saw during the move. I also sent them pictures of broken China jar, glass, plate, decorations & picture frames. I have texted, emailed Adam several times and had given a yelp review but no response for over 2.5 months now. This company also took my long ladder, Adam said he will return in a week since June 22 but was never returned.
This company even charge us extra for the move to pay for more boxes and tapes and we complied even if this is not part of the contract. In return, this is how they treated us.
