In response to the complaint filed against Fresh County Market about the ground beef purchased by *** ***, I would like to express my apology for the experience she had with the ground beefI don't know what could have been the issue with
her particular package because throughout the whole week of our sale we did not have any returns as far as ground beefas far as the return policy, no it is not listed on the receipt but it is listed in front of the store at our customer service booth in which it is taped on the window for the customer to seeOur return policy as far as meat is within one week of purchase with receiptAny returns without receipt will receive an in store credit if it is within the one week the item was purchasedI am attaching a copy of our return policyWe the people at Fresh County Market strive to promote overall excellent customer service giving our customers 100% customer satisfactionWe like to keep our customers happy so with the being said, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we will gladly issue a refund if she still has the receipt so that we may know what the price of the ground beef was at the time of the purchase

On Sunday September 24, 2017, Ms. [redacted] did come into the store with a complaint on some smoked meat she had purchased. She did not have the product with her at the time because she stated she had also purchased greens with the meat and she had...

already cooked it. I informed her that it was ok and even though the product was not bought back, she can still get a different pack of meat and offered to replace the greens as well for her inconvenience. Ms. [redacted] was ok with that until she went back to get another pack and she said she didn't like the smell of that package either. I informed her that she could get anything in the price range of the package of meat and the greens. She came back with a package of polish sausages that was more than the price of both the meat and greens combined. I informed her that we would subtract the money she paid for the meat and greens and she will have to pay the difference. She didn't want to pay the difference. She said she felt like she shouldn't have to. I tried my best to accommodate and apologize to Ms. [redacted] for her inconvenience but I guess my best wasn't good enough. I am truly sorry for her having to experience this situation as we strive to try to keep all of our customers happy and satisfied. We are more than willing to come to amends with Ms. [redacted].
