To Whom It May Concern: About, [redacted] complaintThe Vehicle she purchased with Eastep Auto Sales is a Chrysler [redacted] Dodge Chrysler of Bryan, Texas called and requested a pay-off for this vehicle, because we are not allowed to give customer account information by phone we asked them to fax over the request [redacted] sent an email requesting her pay off and an error on the pay-off was sent back to herWhen [redacted] faxed over verification of the pay-off we faxed back the corrected pay-offWe received a phone call from [redacted] asking why there were different pay-offsWe explained the first one was an error and the customer should have got that one from her last receiptWe corrected it and faxed it backThe deal that was done before verifying the corrected pay-off should never happened with [redacted] The vehicle that Mrs [redacted] purchased with Eastep Auto Sales was sold days later and sold by [redacted] without a pay-offThis vehicle is still in Mrs [redacted] name with Eastep Auto Sales as a lienholderIt is against the law in the state of Texas to sell a vehicle that still has a lien on itThis vehicle has not been paid off by [redacted] .This vehicle was recovered, because, Mrs [redacted] account is in default and Eastep was not aware that the vehicle had been traded in and sold offThe vehicle is in the possession of the recovery company because [redacted] has not paid the vehicle

I am rejecting this response because: Not only did they repo the vehicle knowing that there was a issue with pay-offdid not try to reach out to me and discuss the issuesNot once did *** or his staff try and reach me and explain the situationThen when I did find out there was an issue and tried to speak with them, *** was rude and belligerentI am not stupid and even when I get receipts from them they have always told us to get a pay-off and not rely on our receiptsTHat is what I did and it is not my fault that his staff made the errorI did not make the error and I am the one paying for itI was given an ultimatum now by *** to either pay the difference or loose my car which means I am left with no car at allI think that how *** handled this is completely unfairI have since worked out a deal with *** because they are the only ones with the professionalism to call and speak with me about this but the deal leaves me with a repo on my credit which I think is completely unfairSo if Eastep wants to make this right they can not put it as a repo on my creditThis whole situation could have been avoided if they would have been upfront and politeThey have not once called me to explainI am the one that has been in turmoil and stressedI believe that *** should own up to his employees mistakesI am a manager and if one of my employees makes a mistake I own up to it because it is business and the right thing to do for your customers*** could have handled this situation differently and instead he yelled and screamed at a customer and belittled herI am now not asking for the I just don't need this repo that in all honesty is not my fault to begin withHe can do the right thing and not subject me to thatI have already called an attorney and they said that this is a fair offer given the situation

we asked them to fax over the request. [redacted] sent an email requesting her pay off and an error on the pay-off was sent back to her. When [redacted] faxed over verification of the pay-off we faxed back the corrected pay-off. We received a phone call from [redacted] asking why there were 2 different pay-offs. We explained the first one was an error and the customer should have got that one from her last receipt. We corrected it and faxed it back. The deal that was done before verifying the corrected pay-off should never happened with [redacted].  The vehicle that Mrs. [redacted] purchased with Eastep Auto Sales was sold 3 days later and sold by [redacted] without a pay-off. This vehicle is still in Mrs. [redacted] name with Eastep Auto Sales as a lienholder. It is against the law in the state of Texas to sell a vehicle that still has a lien on it. This vehicle has not been paid off by [redacted].This vehicle was recovered, because, Mrs. [redacted] account is in default and Eastep was not aware that the vehicle had been traded in and sold off. The vehicle is in the possession of the recovery company because [redacted] has not paid the vehicle.
