I wanted to take a moment to respond to Complaint ID [redacted] explained in a letter... from you dated June 26, 2017. In the complaint, the person has demanded refund of a payment that does not exist. Here is a response I put together in response to your letter: A person named [redacted] ordered a product from me (some locks). He had asked for a specific lock number, which had been expected with a recent shipment from China. The order, however, was received but without locks having the number he desired. It is true that the individual did call and we promised him we would be sending the locks when we expected the the shipment the following day. Since the lock with the desired number was not received, we could not fill the order.The person then became abusive in a voicemail message and filed a complaint saying that we had not refunded the money he paid us for his order. As a company policy, we NEVER charge customers before their orders are shipped. That was the case with this individual, yet he continues to ask for a $57 refund. Of course this is unreasonable because we took none of his money. I nonetheless told him I would refund the money if he could provide the transaction number and date so that I could check with our bank. He has not done so.His slandering our company with accusations of stealing his money is dishonesty that we have never received in over 30 years of business. I do not believe that the RevDex.com provides a service to individuals or businesses by serving as a forum for dishonest individuals out to slander honest businesses with unverified claims.What is reasonable is his unhappiness over not receiving locks with the number he desired. I am rejecting this response because: I now concur the charges were not initiated through the bank, no correspondence was provided informing me that my billing did not occur until shippingI withdraw the accusation of theft/fraud in this accountIn terms of communication, this company continued to make promises it did not keep, failed to respond to half a dozen email and phone calls that had been sent over the course of several monthsOnly when I left a explicit communication explaining my frustration with this company did I actually get a responseThe company noted Inwas added to a do not sell list as a response to my final inquiry - no explanation of the issue was ever provided. A simple email mail or phone call back to explain the item issue would have been easy, this communication of explanation is the first I have heard of what happendLack of response on an order is ridiculous in today's businessYou claiming years of being in business should have taught you thatYou may want to take the term "competitive" out of your business name.Regards,
