Review: I informed the [redacted] that the door to my dishwasher is broken, falls when opening. I was told that they will come to the house for a charged of $80 cash to assess the issue which is to applied to the labor and parts. The tech came on Thursday and was at my house approximately 5 minutes and he did not take the dishwasher out, he just took the door off. On the work sheet he wrote needs left and right spring assembly. I received a call from the tech later that evening and was told that the cost of the services will be $260 for parts and labor minus the $80 cash. My husband opened the dishwasher and found that the plastic part to the cable was broken, he went to local appliance store and purchase two cables for a total of $39 and fixed the washer in 10 minutes. The metal springs were not broken. I called [redacted] who stated that you do not have to replace the metal springs if they were not broken. I called the company and spoke with [redacted] the owner, who was nasty and rude. He told me that I would not be getting back my $80 and that [redacted] does not know what they are talking about the springs need to be replaced even though they are not broken. He said the $80 was for diagnosing the problem. I explained that the tech did not even look at the metal springs he just open the front door. I told [redacted] I would be reporting him to the Revdex.com and he said go ahead he did not care.Desired Settlement: We are requesting a refund for the amount we gave to the company. We called [redacted] to let them know what occurred with this company and to take them off their list to give to customers.
