Complete Appliance Service gives  the best repair cost on appliance service in this area.  We are fully insured and pay our men top dollar.  They keep up with there education and are the best of the best service people. If you would call other service  companies and get service call rates this may help you understand the cost. Thank You Arnold Horne Owner [redacted].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 
The response does not address why different brand washers service calls are different prices. The time spent at my house on this washer would have been the same regardless of the brand. I do not agree with the pricing of the service calls. I am certainly glad I chose to buy a new washer.

[redacted],On 3/23/15 the Owner personally set the service call up for [redacted] and at that time she was told the fee would be $49.00 for a top load washer.  [redacted] told  Arnold Horne that the unit is a  FISCHER PACKEL and he told her that he was Sorry but the...

Service Call would be $79.00 for that brand top load or front load.  Quoting his exact words.  After having her unit diagnosed and declining the repair [redacted]  was requesting the owner to give her a free delivery with a purchase of a reconditioned washer from Complete Appliance Service.  Arnold told her that he could not give her a free delivery.  She came into the office and I was in the process of completing her transaction to purchase and deliver a washer.  At that time she overheard a phone call explaining a Service Call to another customer with a different brand at the rate of $49.00. [redacted] then turned to Arnold and asked why her Service Call was a $79.00 charge and that she did not understand the difference between the cost.    Arnold told her that was the charge for the brand she has.   At that time she asked me to hold the washer.  She stated she was not certain about the way the Company did business and that she just didn't know.  We are Sorry for any misunderstanding.  The Service Call is explained upon scheduling the appointment.  Thank You and Have A Great Day !                                       �... [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I was told by the technician that they would come back out the next day for the repair, but that I had to schedule that with the office.  I called and they informed me that they could not come back out for 2 days, as we are a family of 6 laundry is done on a daily basis at that point we went out and purchased a new washer.  I called to cancel and asked if there was a charge and was told no, so I stopped payment on the check.  If I was still responsible for the service call than what should have been said was you owe $79 which will be taken out of your check and we will issue a refund. I was not told this until I called to find out why this was on my credit report.  I offered to pay by credit card the $79 so it would not come to this, however the owner wanted me to reissue another check for the full amount and they would send me a refund of what was left.  Based on the fact that I had called at least 6 times and was unable to reach Anna/owner to resolve the matter to have it removed from my credit report.  The letter also states that calls were made for 60 days with no response.  I have received no calls nor mail concerning the the issue.  I will be more than happy to issue payment  of the service fee, no more and no less.
