I am flummoxed by Mr***'s complaint We checked his dryer on 9-22- We did not find a problem
with the dryer It heated and checked ok Someone, my tech I believe, did note something about an Ecode This code comes up from multiple causes such as a blocked vent or possible sensor I have enclosed a technical bulletin which lists the various things that can cause Ecode The parts department noted on our call on one side of the paper that the sensor was NLA and on the other side of the part number NLA with question I have enclosed a copy of invoice for you to look over
I cannot find anyone in my company who actually told Mr*** he needed a sensor to fix his dryer and that the part was no longer available Mr*** went out and bought a new dryer even though he knew the sensor was available on the Internet through a company that sells part to anyone I have enclosed a copy of his email dated 9-where he shows the part available Why buy a new dryer when the part, assuming it was needed, was available? My technician did not tell Mr*** that he needed a sensor The dryer worked when he was at the home I do not know how Mr*** came to believe that a sensor would solve his problem If a sensor was what he was told he could easily have bought the part for the repair or directed us to the source for the part if wanted the repair done
This is just too confusing We would have gladly come back to recheck the dryer since we warranty our service call for thirty days I can only assume he bought a new dryer because his was seven or eight years old and he thought it was time for a new dryer

Let's try to clear up the confusion that *** has in regards to my complaint:- on the invoice attached it shows part #00422221-Sensor NLA and NLA? Does this not stand for "no longer available?" Would my wife make up the fact that the repairman, *** ***, told her that this part is no longer available. Why would he write NLA?- see attached e-mail from your office in regards to finding the part (note the date of October 2). It says, "We did find the part after further investigation." TWELVE DAYS LATER!- And yes, as you indicated.... I researched the part and send it to you via e-mail as you indicated on 9/22/14. This is a twelve day lapse without a response. I did NOT have a functioning dryer...should I have kept waiting? Even though I found the part on the internet, I am NOT a dryer repairman. I was waiting for a timely response as to whether it could be repaired. And yes I did buy a new dryer because my family needed a way to dry our clothes.What I was looking for when I called your company was accurate information as to whether my dryer could be repaired or whether it needed replaced. This did not happenWhat happened was me researching a part on the internet after the serviceman told my wife that this Bosch sensor is NLA, emailing your office with the information as to the part, and twelve days later receiving a response of, "Please call our offices if you would like to go ahead with the repairs."So as a business owner, please don't insult my intelligence with a reply that states, "This is too confusing."Regards,
