He stated that a supposed blue book value on the car was 2000.00 for 2006 [redacted] altima with under 130000 miles and convinced my wife it wasnt worth fixing and that it was only worth scrap value of 150.00 per his quote he said it was under 2000.00 to fix it and even less when you remove the cosmetic fixes so cosmetics aside just to get it running with the control arm and tie rod the functional utility of a running car is clearly worth more than 150.00 and also his estimate is inflated according to what the national cost estimator for mechanical work is ( nearly double) to further devalue the car and convince my wife it was totaled. And when I tryed to get the car back it was not too late he still had it I offered to pay him 5 times what he payed to get it back and he refused because he is a crook. Regards, [redacted]

On April 6, 2017 Some one from called and wanted a price to replace a left front strut on a *** Altima. During that conversation he decided it would be best if he had the car towed here so we could give him an estimateUpon arrival of the car we looked at the car
and wrote him an estimateMRE*** showed up here minutes after we finished the estimate. (see attached estimate) MrE*** said he didn't want to spend that much money on the car. *** *** can in April 14, with the title to the *** Altima (that was in here name) saying she wanted to sell the car for scrapMrJackson called some scrap yards to get a price on what the cars scrap value was. MrJackson wrote her a check for that amount ( see attached ). *** *** signed the title over. When MrE*** came in to try and get the car back it was too late

Hello, In reference to Mr. [redacted] complaint this vehicle was brought to our shop 4 different visits.  The first visit (ro# [redacted] ) was because he was recommended by another shop to have us replace the cat converter. We found that this vehicle did not need a converter ,  the software in...

the PCM needed to be updated per TSB. The second visit (ro# [redacted]) was due to the radiator cooling fan quit working and needed replaced , also #3 spark plug would not torque to spec. The third visit (ro# [redacted]) we found that the coolant recovery tank was defective and the thermostat was leaking , completed this repair with no other issues @ this time. The fourth visit (ro# [redacted]) customer said the vehicle was overheating, coolant was mixed with the oil, and white smoke from under the vehicle. We found no problem with the mentioned items . what we did find was the radiator cap was missing. I informed Mr. [redacted] to mention to his customer the importance of re-installing these type of components back on the vehicle after checking fluid levels. We installed  a new radiator cap and checked fluid levels @ no cost to him or the company he works for. The time line for these repairs are as follow: 1st – 2nd visit = 16 Days  ,  2nd – 3rd  visit = 23 Days  ,  3rd – 4th = 5 Days , for these reasons I do not feel or see anyway possible that Complete Auto Repair is responsible for any of repairs needed at this time.  Thank You, Richard J[redacted].
