Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2014/12/01) */
To those with the power to silence this lieI , *** ***,contractor, gave *** *** a good priceWe had to remove the existing patio that was in place to poor her slabSeveral yards of rock and brickOnce excavated, we installed a
drain to prevent flooding, that ran under the slabThis was not paid forThen we poured yards psi concrete over a steel grid of#re-bar ,foot to inches ob centerIt was sloped away from the house and no water will set anywhere on the slab.A light broom finish was applied to prevent slippage.A fantastic job was doneShe was happy until I asked for the $for the drainWhich was not part of the contractThe truth!

*** *** mentioned that he added a trainage pip underneath of concrete.I did not ask to do so in the oringinal job.the fact is he did big wrong that he added a pip in a wrong place.because the end of pip right on the corner of the house where just right at water leaking spot of my house.I do not want any water to go to therebut way far from there.I had not mention in my original complaintin fact, this is wrong job he did for me.*** *** is responsible to fix this problem.I want water go far away from house not to collect water into the coner, that will be make the soil too soft and soon or later the house will lean on that coner,I scared to think how bad this problem in future

She was to supply 14 cabinets to install . She did not. 5 needed fabrication and she did not want to pay any extra...

costs. 11 cabinets were installed. Total. 2 had to be changed because she gave us a plan that had the wrong cabinet in the diagram that was given to us to put the right cabinet in the right place. So 11 cabinets were installed out of a total of 14. We spent 9 hours at site that day. Were paid $480 for that day. She cannot have that back . She is requesting that back but I refused for several reasons. The most contingent one being fabrication for the cabinetry which was not included in any way on my contract. She failed to read the part about extra work and extra costs. those are to be written up and signed before we continue. This she refused to do . We were told not to return. I have pictures of installed cabinetry. I have the contract stating 14 cabinets only. I have her misguided drawings also to prove it all .In conclusion ,she wanted something for nothing. Sincerely ,[redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/02/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mr. [redacted]'s response has NOT resolved my complaint. Mr. [redacted] did NOT install eleven cabinets; he placed the seven lower cabinets in my kitchen. However, they were not leveled or installed. He attempted to install the seven upper cabinets; however, only two cabinets were properly installed. The remaining five, upper cabinets needed to be removed since one cabinet was installed upside down and the others were not level. He also secured the upper cabinets on the lower, outside rail instead of securing the cabinets from the inside. I have photos of all the errors. I was forced to pay for four hours of labor at $80 per hour (total $320) to remove the un-level cabinets and repair all the holes in my new cabinets where Mr. [redacted] erroneously secured the upper cabinets. I also incurred additionally fees for the installation of my new kitchen cabinets after the cabinets were repaired.
I never refused to pay additional fees for extra labor costs that were unforeseen. Mr. [redacted] did not present any solutions for his fabricated obstacles; he just abandoned the job site!
I am baffled by Mr. [redacted]'s comment regarding the five cabinets that required fabrication; what fabrication was required? I have photos of the assembled cabinets that were placed in my kitchen by Mr. [redacted]. I also have emails and receipts from the cabinet manufacturer stating the cabinets were assembled. How can he state he installed eleven cabinets if five needed fabrication - the numbers do not add up.
I am also confused by Mr. [redacted]'s comment on the time he spent installing the cabinets. We left the house after 10 am and Mr. [redacted] had not arrive. He called me before 3 pm stating he was leaving the job site; I arrived home at 4 pm and he was gone and my home was left unlocked. How could he have spent nine hours installing the cabinets?
I asked that Mr. [redacted] not return to the job since he was demanding that the cabinet manufacturer supply us with new cabinet doors. He stated that the cabinet doors were warped; however, the cabinets were not leveled when installed by Mr. [redacted], thus the doors were not closing properly. The door adjustments are also documented in emails from the cabinet manufacturer.
In an effort to resolve this dispute, I am willing to accept a middle ground offer from Mr. [redacted] of $320 instead of the requested $500 cabinet installation fee. I feel that Mr. [redacted] should at least reimburse me for the fees I paid to remove the erroneously installed cabinets and the damage he did to my new, kitchen cabinets.
Please let me know if you would like me to forward the photos of my kitchen cabinets.
Thank you for your assistance in resolving this conflict,
[redacted]

Review: hired said contractor to do some work at our home.we discussed and agreed uopn price and work to be completed.were not happy with concrete re finishing right away and had him back to re do and were still not satisfied but accepted it as we were just tired of fighting with him.after the next 6 months went bye we contacted said contractor again in regards to the trellis he built us was cracking and warping and paint peeling off. he argued and finally came out to fix it and got paint all over the new pavers he installed for us and refused to do anything about the posts that hold the trellis up. he told us he would not come back again to do maitnence work to our trellis as it would be our responsability for now on.I agreed until last week as we were getting that area ready for summer I noticed all of the posts were pelling and rotted to the point of needing replacement. It turns out the posts wer never painted only primered from the factory. I even asked him at the time he was painting the other material if he was going to paint them also and his answer was "they look to pretty to touch". I left him a text message and a voice mauil as well as a social media message and he will not get back to me in regards to my problem.Desired Settlement: I have multiple issues with all of the work he has done at my home and would never let him back to do any type of work for my family!I would like him tro refund my money and come take all of the material he installed including the pavers and trellis as all of it is falling apart and if he does repairs I strongly feel that I will only end up in same situation again in a year or less!
