Hope you are well. Attached please see the correspondence with [redacted]. Basically, [redacted] signed a contract to lease a product. It had some technical issues as any mechanical device does from time to time. All issues were addressed in a timely manner. Outside of credits and loaner machines, we even offered...
to replace the product with another like product. However, [redacted] wants to just simply return this device and not honor his contract because he was offered a lower cost from another vendor. As my email note to him states, we believe that the product he has is working well but if he would like we would be willing to replace it with another machine but we do not have any authority to cancel a lease agreement that is in place with a leasing company called [redacted]Please feel free to contact me if there’s anything further I can provide.Regards,
Review: My law office leased a new Xerox digital copier through a company named Complete Document Solutions located in [redacted]. The copier was supposed to be the newest, fastest most effective copier which also functions as a high speed scanner, printer, and fax machine. It has now been in my office for 4 months and does not perform any of the functions. The Machine costs $500 per month and has been "serviced" at least 11 times and all service representatives blame some other entity - [redacted] program doesn't work, [redacted] did not take the bugs out, the machine needs to be "updated", different software needs to be installed etc. The bottom line is there is no functioning copier, scanner, and fax. We have resorted to our old copier, separate fax, scanner and printers. There is NO REASON to have this new machine - it is a large paperweight. My office and staff have spent countless hours addressing this problem. THIS COPIER NEEDS TO BE RETURNED TO [redacted] OR THE COMPANY THAT SOLD IT.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the copier removed and lease cancelled. The performance of the [redacted] machine and the seller of same, Complete Document Solution, has been abysmal. I can't run my business around this complete failure of this copier.
