Complete Electric, Inc. Reviews (1)

Complete Electric has been to my house over 20 times as they have wired every new light, appliance, and circuit replaced in my home.I have experience great, good, bad and down right ugly from them. Yesterday was a traumatic experience that cost me $647.35. and 7 hours of my day spent with an electrician that required a lot of attention. I supplied all materials. I called them tp hang a front entrance light (old had already been taken down), find out why an exterior LED flood light was not coming on (which the company had hung a couple years earlier), advise me on what I might add to make Christmas lights easier to hang. And check why one of the exterior outdoor garage sconces had a flickering lightbulb. He had no ideas to offer to make putting up Christmas lights easier, but I decided to have him put in 2 exterior outlets wired in-line with ones opposite them in interior walls. Upon opening the new light to be hung at the entrance, we notice it did not come with bulbs, The bulbs had to have the bulbs installed before hanging because it would be hard to install the bulbs in after it was hung with the way the shades was attached and I did not like what he had on the truck for outside outlets, so I ran to Lowe's to get them. When I left he was trying to figure out how to take apart the light with the flickering bulb and would troubleshoot the exterior floodlight. When I returned from Lowe's with the 2 exterior outlets I wanted and new light bulbs, he had both of my garage lights apart and said there was no power to either, and was up in my attic tracing the wire of the floodlight that had stopped working. There must have been 4 tool boxes, 2 or 3 ladders and numerous tools spread across my entrance. I had NEVER had problems with the second garage light prior. And the flickering garage light had power or it wouldn't be flickering. I immediately took the flickering lightbulb out and put it in an indoor light and sure enough it was a bad bulb as it flickered in my indoor fixture. While the garage lights we're apart I changed out both bulbs. He was in a frenzy over why the garage lights weren't working, called his office and started blaming prior workers I had at my house for doing something to my attic wiring. He started to take my light switches apart and I had to stop him and become this mans wingman to hopefully prevent further damage and help him out of his frenzy. He was a nice man but a very talkative man. Probably a good 2 hours was spent listening to him. He went back in the attic and after banging on the ceiling to show me were there was an outlet that attached all my outdoor lights.."magically" found the wire that was loose, that had caused the garage lights to loose power. My guess was that he hit it while up there trying to find out why the floodlight was not working. He put he both garage lights back together and I watched him so I will never again have to call an electrician to change a bad light bulb. He never could figure out what is wrong with the floodlight, and suspects the light might be bad. Then he installed one of the outlets adding a piece that made it jut out from the wall an extra 5 inches that I did not like how it looked. So he took it back out and installed only the professional outlets I had brought home from Lowe's. Basically, it cost me $647.35 to have a lightbulb changed, a entrance light hung and 2 in line (no wires run) outlets installed that took 7 hours of my day to get accomplished. The floodlight is still not working. He seems to be knowledgable but I have never seen this amount of work take so long while being called to discuss, hear, watch and see at every turn. I feel like I know his complete family and work history. When he left I felt drained. I feel bad writing this because he is a nice man and I don't know if he was intentionally trying to take atvantage of me. But the work that was done, should not have been an all day job. I have spent thousands of dollars and have a long history with this company and did not deserve the experience I received. I still have lots of future electrical work but will no longer be calling Complete Electric, in Sebastian, FL.
