The patient is only responsible for her prompt pay discount which was collected at the time of service She has probably received an Estimate of Benefits from her insurance company that states she may owe our facility the amount she listed in email However, we will not bill her for the
remaining amt that was not paid by the insurance company due to our prompt pay discount and service She will not receive a bill from us for that amount. If there are further questions please contact the facility at *** and ask for *** ***.Thanks*** ***Chief Nursing Officer

This information has been forwarded to the billing office in Southlake over weeks ago They are investigating the payments rec'd and will refund the appropriate amounts after the audit is complete I will check on the status on Monday and contact the pt with an update on Nov
