The person that is complaining about my company does not have a contract with us.We did the roof for previous owner and he knew that the reason we did not install a ridge vent on the house was because we would have had to cut the ridge and that would weaten the frame of the home.I did meet with
this lady that currently owns the home and explained to her that I would not be responsible for the frame of the buildingI requested that she sign a document stating that I would not be responsible for the future issues that could occur and she refusedI was going to make her happy by not charging her anything.Witch that been said, I will not deal with this person or do any work for her.....she's very rude and not worth my time.If this gets posted on my Revdex.com profile, please let me know and I will take further action against them Like I said, I don't or ever did have a contract with the person complaining about us, and our warranty it is not transferable. Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised he was willing to assist the consumer. Consumer wanted a ridge vent installed in the top of the roof.  Consumer was instructed to obtain a letter from an architect stating that the integrity of the structure would not be compromised.  Consumer wouldn't provide such therefore the alternative of installing four side square vents at no cost, but the consumer had to sign the work order as well as a release of liability in order for said work to be completed.  Consumer declined signing such, therefore the business advised there was nothing more he can do to assist her as the warranty for the previous owner was nontransferable.
