Complete Property Restoration

Was hired to do a roof job the day before christmas. I went out there completed the job with an agreement to get paid in 3 days. They never paid $1800Work order was issued to re tar a flat roof. It was issued 2 days before christmas. I stated I can do this job for them if I get paid immediately because I have to put money out for material that I don't have right now. [redacted] agreed I would get paid 3 days after. I previously did this same job to the same house 7 months prior and was paid for it. 3 days comes a long and she says I was suppose to remediate the mold inside so she couldn't get it approved from the bank without it. So I went back the day after christmas and did this job as they requested. the next day I asked about the progress of getting paid . they dragged me a long saying the bank wasn't paying it for some reason. The next day she told me the bank is not paying them because 7 months ago it was not done correctly and the roof leaked causing the new leak and mold inside the house. She then said I was not going to get paid.I have many issue with this. 1. She sent me out there saying I was going to get paid however the bank was never going to pay me in the first place.2. we had an agreement of payment within 3 days . They are their own business and have their own responsibilities , one being to pay their agreements.3. The job I did 7 months prior was done correctly like they asked. I have documents and pictures to proove it.4. I did the same exact job this time as I did the first time with the addition of mold remediation for $3005. If there was an issue with the first job then they should have contacted me sooner and not make me go to the job the second time with false intensions of getting paid.6. They paid me the first time for the same exact thing7. The roof is not leaking because my job but because it needs to be completely replaced and tarring it does not suffice the problem.This company owes me $1800 for this one job.I have also had a job where I did another roof for them worth $7500 and they only paid me $5500. this company is a crooked company that lies to their contractors and does not stick to their word or agreements.Desired SettlementThis company owes me $1800 and thats what I am trying to get . I put money out for material a few days before christmas because they promised id get paid in 3 days. I was doing them a favor and now I am out money and the labor I was suppose to get paid. please help.Business Response In this industry the client requires that if we complete a job it is completed correctly. as stated by Mr. [redacted] he is the one that completed the job originally but because he did not do it correctly it caused more damage to the home in less then 6 months of him stating he completed the job. The back required that the job be done over at cost and I explained that to him when we spoke to him. I told him if after he fixed it, it was shown/pictured to be new damage we would ask the bank to pay him for the new damage but with his own words, the damage was at the exact same place he originally fixed which made it his fault and his issue to fix for free. Per our policy, we do not pay for incomplete work(please see the attached document)
