I unfortunately have to go to small claims court because of about $of faulty work done on my home This is a summary of excerpts of a letter of demand to the contractor who was brought in to look at the damages: Tom O***, project manager after inspecting the damage wrote: "The floor is installed with the space to allow for expansion as any wood floor, whether a laminate or hardwood product, will expand with moisture in the air." However, both photographic evidence and expert testimony from a third party inspector show this is not true In regards to a large crown in laminate floor, MrO***, project manager states "The floor was prepped prior to installation with a leveling agent as well." Both photographic evidence and testimony from a third party inspector show this is not trueI am in *** Washington and my guess is that the company made claims about their work because they knew the difficulty I would have pursuing the case in small claims court in the state of MassachusettsWhen I spoke to a lawyer regarding the matter he told me that CRS had a reputation of doing poor workThe only bright side for me is that if a company makes claims I could be entitled to double or triple damagesHowever, traveling across the country to go to court certainly is a high price to pay

We had a basement flood and CRS came within hours Very professional and did a fine job removing all of the 'flooded' items and were helpful in describing next steps

Complete Restoration Solutions (C.R.S.) finished water damage repairs in my home I found their own workers and their sub-contractors did very professional and quality work C.R.Swas accommodating and worked diligently until the work was completed
I would recommend this company to anyone who has the need for home repairs

The first week of May 2016 we signed a contract with CRS to restore our house after we'd had some extensive water damage. Within a week the subcontractor was at our house to do some needed demolition work. Then it took nearly a month for anyone to come back to start more work. Our contract expired the end of June. It is now the end of October and the work is not yet complete. We have not heard from them in over 2 weeks, not unusual. The subcontractors are sub par for the most part. I'm not happy with some of the work done to date and will have to have the work define.

The CRS crew from the Maryland office performed mold remediation work in my apartment for approximately 6-weeks (not continuously). One of their on-site Supervisors was present for much of the work.

Before CRS workers began the project, I hired a Certified Industrial Hygienist to perform air quality testing and moisture readings. The CIH formally identified toxic mold growth in my unit (including within the HVAC system). My apartment complex also hired their own environmental professional who identified mold growth as well. CRS has access to the reports, which were used to formulate their scope of work.

Despite being made well aware of the quantity and severity of the mold present in my home, and its presence in the HVAC system, CRS chose not to adhere to EPA and/or OSHA guidelines for the protective gear required to be worn by workers responsible for mold abatement tasks.

For weeks, the same CRS workers pulled out moldy drywall, ripped up carpet ruined by black mold, carried away contaminated insulation, and compled any number of tasks involving direct contact with toxic mold and/or chemicals. I watched them do all of this while wearing nothing but the occasional pair of latex gloves. CRS' workers, both men and women (of childbearing age), wore only their own clothing and shoes, no work gloves, masks, protective suits, or shoe covers.

If your instinct is to be less concerned about the CRS workers' health than the company's job performance, consider things from a different perspective. Since CRS showed so little regard for government-enforced safety rules (even though violations could result in fines), it is unlikely they are an ethical company deserving of the trust we place in companies allowed in our most private space - our home. I would certainly not recommend them to anyone.
