Mr*** M*** first came to us in January of At that time he represented to us that he was looking to buy an investment property and needed our help in locating financing for him. He represented that he had very good credit and money for proper down payment.We put our best effort in
trying to secure financing for him including providing him with a pre approval based on what he representedAs we continued working with him, we discovered that he was not completely hornet with us about a number of things.He decided to go elsewhere and we never heard from him again until early this yearI said to him that we will do everything legally to help him secure a loan but we have to enter into an agreement and pay a non refundable deposit of $for our processors to which he agreed.When we pulled his credit, we discovered that he had been late on one of his mortgages and was threatened with foreclosure at one pointHe also takes a lot of illegal deductions on his Federal Tax returns There were other derogatorily on his credit report which we cleared with himThis additional work completely improved his credit to the point that he started going behind our back to other companies.Now that we have done all these work for him, he expects us to be a charity organization to him.He did not have to come back to us after his first experience if he truly thought that we were a bad companyWe have to pay for people that work for us to stay in business

I do not doubt that Mr. [redacted] may have gotten a loan from another lender{After we improved his credit} but it will make it a lot easier to have an intelligent conversation if he can only attach the mortgage documents including the HUD Settlement closing statement.I am glad that he has not disputed the fact that we have been working to help him for more that a year {As evidenced from his pre-approval attachment}He can also go one step further and acknowledge that we have helped improve his credit for him to even be in the position that he is now.We have been in business for more than 18 years and if this is how we make our money, we will be left with no business!!I am very proud that we have helped and continue to help a lot of people regardless of the fact that you want us to work for you for free.

I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. [redacted] is not an honest broker.  I never misrepresented in any way as far as my intentions regarding a mortgage.  I never represented or even hinted that the home that I was seeking a mortgage was an investment property.  I lived in the property for which I was seeking a mortgage as a renter with the option to buy for close to three years.  Mr. [redacted] went as far as providing me with a pre-approval letter that I was approved for a mortgage and then backed out of the dishonest letter.  I never misrepresented any of my tax filings and they are prepared by a very honorable tax firm in New York, who have been preparing my personal and business taxes for years.  I never had a foreclosure or any problems with the IRS, so how and why Mr. [redacted] would question my deductions is foreign to me.  This is how Mr. [redacted] conducts his business.  He offers no help in gaining a mortgage, other than presenting possible lenders and with me it was only one, who questioned Mr. [redacted] participation, complaining about his timely responses.  On top of everything else, when I questioned a refund, he emailed derogatory personal remarks, which I have attached.  He is very unprofessional and my belief is that this is how he makes his money, by taking advantage of vulnerable people.  When I received the information that Mr. [redacted], would not be able to help me obtain a mortgage and when he asked that I do something that I felt was not above board, I decided to look elsewhere, where I got a conventional mortgage at a very competitive rate in less than a month.People like Ike [redacted] should be called out and I expect him to refund my $500.00, because he did nothing to earn it.
