I appreciate the prompt reply by the company's President and do not want to cause their business undo harm via reputation on Revdex.com.org or elsewhere I cannot comment on the quality of the work they do, because the person they sent out did not perform the job I had already performed the troubleshooting, removed the wire connections, and prepared wire to be replaced The technician stated he needed to bring in others for digging (he did not dig, but charged a starate while other did), and explained the costs for the proposed job I could not afford this, and stated such I was then presented with the $service fee The following day I went to home depot, bought $worth of UF cable, and dug it myself (took hrs) Job completed Hardball tactics (threatening lawsuits) are best saved for hardball situations (iepeople not paying for work already performed & materials utilized) Why this company would take this approach with new prospective customers is beyond my understanding Reading their Revdex.com complaint history, this has happened previously with another gentleman I regret ever phoning them, as this experience has been very unpleasant A check for $will be sent in the mail today to cover your overhead costsPlease do not contact me again Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me

To Whom it may concern, The issue has been resolved since the following dayWe were able to speak to the customer and resolve the issueWe did explain what our rates were, and how time keeps running after technician arrives to the customers house all the way to the time they are done That time includes the time they have to take to go buy or pick up material they may not have in their truckWe do understand what the customer issue was, and decided to go ahead and discounted the extra hour the tech took to go get material as a one time discountWe hope they customer retracts her review or complain since thenThank you and we hope this explains in detail what we did to resolve this issueSincerely, Wired Electrical

Mr. [redacted] We spoke earlier today about this issue and have you set up us come out to correct the problem on Jan. 24th per your request. This will be done at no cost to you. I did tell you that all you had to do is ask for me and all this would have been taken care of. As far... as the previous issues with the transfer switch back in 2013 this is the first I am hearing about it. It must of been at a time that all my service tech were tied up and it was just a matter of you would be next in line to get it repaired. We did repair at no cost to you the next day. This was covered by [redacted] warranty. This has nothing to do with the installation. I would be willing to to take care of this for you. As far as the problem you have now with it not starting. We can out there and found that the starter had gone out on generator. The starter is exactly like a car starter and they do go bad. Your warranty from [redacted] has expired 1/05/2014. We did repair this and there was a charge as it was not covered under warranty. We will see you on the 24th to correct the wiring issues. Sometimes my employees make mistakes. We will get it resolved. If you have any questions please call me at 713-467-1125 - Ben [redacted] - Vice President

I sent [redacted] a LED bulb free of charge to try and correct the problemI told him if he had anymore problems with his outside light to please contact me directly and I would take care of itBen H [redacted] ***

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. Sent: Sunday, February 21, 2016 8:12 AM Subject: complaint [redacted] I was not satisfied with their response and did not want to reschedule as suggested. I believe they breached a contract and demand a refund. [redacted]

We would like to clear a couple items upThe call back in can in and all of our techs where tied up at the time and told we would be there the next dayIn turn you called another company that could make it out there right away and after speaking with *** they are not a *** dealer and did not know what to doThey just bypassed your power so that you could get powerWe did come out the next day and repair your transfer switch under *** warranty at no cost to youAlso not the transfer switch failing had nothing to do with the code violationIt was a mechanical part that failed from the FactoryThey you called a with the generator not starting and we where backed up with calls so you did call another *** dealer to take a look and indeed they told you they could not work on it due to code violation and indeed the violation was in the transfers switch not the generator and after speaking with *** they should of repaired the problem*** contacted them and they did send you a invoice for only $a reduced costI will start that they should of repaired the generator and they have been made aware that they should of repaired the generatorWe did come out a couple days later and repair generatorThe generator was not under warranty by *** and we charged you our fee of $for the 1st hour of work plus parts and $for each additional hourWe did repair your generator and we would reduce the first hour from $to Rebate of $and also will refund the $for the company failure to repair your generatorwe have also repaired all code violations and would be happy to write a letter to you stating that

Mr*** ***, We want to apologize for not contacting you sooner, I did tried to search through our emails, but I couldn't find any emails under your name or email. I do see that we went out to your home to give out a quote done by Ryan of which we charge
$59.00 regardless of wether you decide to do the work with us or not. In the case that you do decide to do the work we would apply the $59.00 dollars to the total amount of the quote. I don't see that we actually performed the work, I'm not sure if you ended up canceling due to our technician not making it on time, or not showing up? We try our best to show up within the given window, unfortunately some times we run a little behind. Nonetheless, I do want to apologize for not contacting you and keeping you inform on our timeWith that said, the $dollars gets charge no matter what, since that's what we charge to go out to your location to give out a quote with our estimator, that's just standard policy. I would be more than happy to reschedule you first thing in the morning, so that way you don't have to wait and you can be our technicians first stopI hope that we can still provide you with the services required, and apply the $to the work, unfortunately that's the only way we can apply the dollars SrWe always charge to go out to any customers home and give a quoteWe would be more than happy to help you. Thank you so much for contacting us and we hope to resolve this matter the best way possible Thank you The Wired Team

We took the call to come and troubleshoot the sign on the building thatdid not have any power going to the Sign not to repair the signWe arrived and troubleshot power going to sign, We found that the time clock needed to be replaced that fed power to the sign, We replaced time clock and then the
sign had power going to the sign and then we investigated after we going the power problem repaired and found that the NEON in the sign was damaged and need to be repairedThis is something a sign contractor doesWe advised the customer that they now have power going to the sign and now needed an sign contractor to repair the Neon in the signThe part that does not make sense about this call is how did the customer know that they needed to get the power fixed going to the sign? This is the called we get usually from the customer after they have a sign contractor out there to repair sign and find a power problem before they can repair the signThe sign contractor does not work on power going to the sign just the sign itself and we can only work on the power going to the sign not the signWe explained this to the customer and the said they just wanted the sign fixedBen H***Vice President

I find these types of customers who
feel that every time there is a minor issue, they can threaten Wired Electric
with Revdex.com complaints over our headWhen Wired Electrical Service spoke with the
gentlemen on the phone, the first day regarding his sump pump, he told us that
his sump pump was not working and did not know whyRequested someone to
troubleshoot the problemWired Electric explained on the phone that the rate
is $for the first hour and $for each additional hour plus material
There are certain jobs that a quote can be given and we send estimators out to
provide those quotesWhen there is a troubleshooting issue or when tools must
be involved to figure out what the problem is, it is not physically possible to
provide a quote until the problem is determinedThe gentlemen on the phone was
so glad to hear that we could be out at 8:00am the next morning, he probably
did not hear us explaining our rates to himWhen our technician arrived and
troubleshoots the problem using his toolsHe determined that the underground
wiring from sump pump to panel was previously installed very poorly and was the
cause of the problemThis first hour call where our technician used his tools
is something we must always charge forThen proceeded to give the customer a
quote to replace entire underground service to sump pump; which by code would
need to be dug inches deepThis customer along with many others seemed to
feel that electrical work is a piece of cake and can be done so quicklyIn
order to complete the work correctly, per National Electrical Code an
electrician must install things a certain way; which many customers do not
understandWe gave this customer and estimate of $to replace the
underground wiring; which many for the distance seemed very reasonable
according to Wired ElectricThere would have been an additional two
technicians that would had to have shown up to completely this job and three
technician would have spent approximately four hours on this projectThe
customer says he politely declined, which is an untrue statement and absolutely
refused to pay for the troubleshooting work of identifying exactly what the
problem wasThreatened Wired Electric to make a complaint, if he was forced to
payI’m sure this customer along with anyone who reads this response would not
like to go to his or her job and work for an hour for freeI do not know of a
company that could go to everyone’s home and work for the first hour at no
charge, find the problem, tell the customer what needs to be done to make the
repairs and walk away with collecting no moneySo the customers can turn
around and make the repair themselves and/or hire another non-qualified person
to make the repairsWhich I’m sure would not meet NEC code
Had the customer been polite and not
threatened while we were there, we would have reduce the at first hour charge
from $to $Wired Electrical Services sent the customer two invoices via
US mail to try to recover our costThen the customer called to discuss the
situationThe customer said if we could produce proof of the fact that he
agreed to the charge he would pay it on the spotWe did not realize the
customer is an expert on what is or is not a ridiculous amount going of the
electricians in the State of TexasWired Electrical Services generously
offered, once again, to take a credit card over the phone at a reduced fee of
only $The customer chose not to pay and would rather us take him to small
claims court; which we will proceed to do so, even though it will typically cost
Wired Electrical Services more money, but feel by doing so that customers like
this one will hopefully realize people do not work at your home for freeWe do
not know what this gentleman does for a living, but by no means would Wired
Electric proceed to tell him what he is worth per hour doing his job
Sincerely,

I appreciate the prompt reply by the company's President and do not want to cause their business undo harm via reputation on Revdex.com.org or elsewhere.  I cannot comment on the quality of the work they do, because the person they sent out did not perform the job.  I had already performed the troubleshooting, removed the wire connections, and prepared wire to be replaced.  The technician stated he needed to bring in others for digging (he did not dig, but charged a stand-by rate while other did), and explained the costs for the proposed job.  I could not afford this, and stated such.  I was then presented with the $149 service fee.  The following day I went to home depot, bought $40 worth of UF cable, and dug it myself (took 1.5 hrs).  Job completed.

Hardball tactics (threatening lawsuits) are best saved for hardball situations (ie. people not paying for work already performed & materials utilized).  Why this company would take this approach with new prospective customers is beyond my understanding.  Reading their Revdex.com complaint history, this has happened previously with another gentleman.   I regret ever phoning them, as this experience has been very unpleasant.

A check for $149 will be sent in the mail today to cover your overhead costs. Please do not contact me again.

August 3, 2016   Attention: Mrs. [redacted] – Revdex.com   I would like to respond to the complaint, which was sent to the Revdex.com on 8/2/2016. Along with this letter I will send copies of invoices and contracts that correspond with this dispute. Mrs. [redacted] who lives at [redacted]...

[redacted], hired Wired Electrical Services to pull City of Deer Park permit and change out their outdated electrical box. Our technician replaced the box and once completed Centerpoint energy did not restore power till after we were gone. Therefore we needed to return to verify everything was working. We returned to do a panel schedule and correct a few minor issues in the electrical box and customer still did not pay for the completed job. Customer called us back later that evening saying there was still an additional item inside the home that was not working and we sent another tech out to make the proper repairs and the customer still would not pay our money. The following day we attempted numerous times to get in contact with the customer for payment and customer would not take our calls. We dispatched a technician for 8am the next morning in hopes that they would be home and we could collect the outstanding balance of $3010.35.  Customer said there was another additional item inside the home which was not working and we were willing to make those repairs at no cost to them to resolve the issue just so we could get paid and move on. The first technician who did the original panel change and the customer had some disputes and could not get along therefore for the remainders of the repairs we sent an additional technician, which we have not received a complaint about for at least 5 years.  My technician called our office saying that the customer was screaming and yelling and making him very uncomfortable and he refused to ever go back to this customer again. I have made several email attempts to contact this customer and have copied City of Deer Park on all emails. City of Deer Park Mr. [redacted] and I spoke and he has been doing his best to try and help us resolve the issue so we can be paid and no Liens on the property or lawsuits occur. Mr. [redacted] has also volunteered his personal time to be on site when we arrive to make the last 30min repairs, which need to be perform and then have our technician collect the full balance of $3010.35. I have not heard a response back from the customer except for the Revdex.com complaint, which I cannot agree with, and can 100% tell you 50% of the statement is untrue due to the fact I was the one speaking to this customer. They did not believe I was the owner of the company and the customer seemed like they were not willing to resolve the issue but more or less trying to avoid payment. I expressed my apology for any mishaps that may or may not have happened. I also let them know I will honor our 5-year parts and labor warranty regardless of the situation if the balance is paid in full and the issue is resolved. We have personally delivered and email our Intent to Lien letter on the property and will take the necessary action to collect. Once our Lien is applied all additional fees from Lien, courts and attorneys will be added to the invoice. This is not the option we would like to take, we would rather fix this issue and if the customer is willing we can close this issue by the end of the week. Sincerely, Nathanael [redacted] President Master # 100394 TECL# 22809

To Whom it may concern, The issue has been resolved since the following day. We were able to speak to the customer and resolve the issue. We did explain what our rates were, and how time keeps running after technician arrives to the customers house all the way to the time they are done....

That time includes the time they have to take to go buy or pick up material they may not have in their truck. We do understand what the customer issue was, and decided to go ahead and discounted the extra hour the tech took to go get material as a one time discount. We hope they customer retracts her review or complain since then. Thank you and we hope this explains in detail what we did to resolve this issueSincerely, Wired Electrical

We appreciate that Wired came out to rectify the installation issues and would indeed like a letter  to this effect as offered. We presume the installation is now up to [redacted]/State and other applicable codes as your crew assured us but will have an independent inspector out later to look it over as well.We can not agree that Wired offered to be out the next day when the transfer switch blew up back in 2013. It happened 12/07/13 and despite the fact that we stressed the unit was under warranty and we had no power and it was winter, we were told it would be 7 days before you could come out. We hence called another company which (as you correctly pointed out) bypassed the transfer switch so that we at least could get power/heat/water. I called your office 12/09/13 begging for service and they came out 12/10/13.When Wired offered [redacted] and us to come out 01/12/17 it was to fix everything. Instead you only serviced the Generator, which you office did confirm was a mistake. Whilst we agree the Generator and installation issues are unrelated, your service fee could have been avoided had you fixed both issues on 01/12/17 as promised.Instead we had to take another day off work to be here for the service 01/23/17, which you actually told Revdex.com and [redacted] would be on 01/24/17 and hence we had  taken that day off as well !Given the costs we have had in lost wages not to mention the inconvenience involved here, we feel it's reasonable that Wired waive the $350 and cover us for the $89. We will then agree to cover the $235 paid in 2013.
Regards,

I sent [redacted] a LED bulb free of charge to try and correct the problem. I told him if he had anymore problems with his outside light to please contact me directly and I would take care of it. Ben H[redacted]
