Pittsford Paving : So now you are saying that my driveway was not in a condition to be sealed, but you did it and took my money anyway? Why was I not told of any potential issue or problem? [redacted] who did the repaving , told me NOT TO HAVE IT SEALED UNTIL IT WAS THE COLOR OF THE ROADI called you at that time-your office did not respond to my call for over a month- you likely have those recordsAnyway, on the day the sealing was finally done, I phoned you and advised you I was concernedYou refused angrily to even come out a LOOKI did not want to harm my excellent credit rating ,so I paid, but let you know how I felt about your attitude, and wrote "shame on you " on your invoice with my check, and had several neighbors listen to your abusive phone meassageReasonable ?? We sealed the driveway at *** Road on September 9, (for $125+ tax - she paid her bill October 23, 2014), using the same material we have been using for years (jet blak sealer), mixed properly as per manufacturers specificationsWe did other driveways that day with no
other complaints and we generally do not receive complaints regarding our sealer being watery or the speed with which our employees workMs *** had her driveway paved approximately 4-years before and had never sealed it, therefore it was quite dry and porous.We did check Ms ***'s driveway after her complaint and called her to let her know the job was fineShe called again this year and we checked it again and called her again to let her know her job is fine, like a 4-year old driveway that had bean sealed once a year ago should look likeThere is nothing wrong with the sealer job we performedIt does not need to be re-done and we have responded to her complaints in a timely manner, and made every attempt to communicate and reason with her.Sincerely,Gerardo K

We are saying that your driveway was overdue to be sealed. Most people seal their driveways 1-2 years after [redacted]. You chose to wait 5 years. First time sealer applications use significantly more sealer than jobs that have already been sealed. Waiting 5 years would cause it to use even more. Many people seal their driveways yearly (we do not recommend that) and often it is actually a good idea to seal a driveway 2 years in a row on new asphalt, depending on how it is wearing.Your driveway looks fine, much better than the pictures you sent. We have looked at it multiple times. There is one area where the sealer is wearing more than the rest of the driveway. This is probably due to the conditions outlined above plus the fact that your driveway is very shady and relatively flat. This can also cause uneven wear.There is nothing wrong with the job we did. We charged a fair price. We will not give you a refund or re-seal you driveway again.Sincerely,Gerardo K[redacted]
