Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here] this is not an honest response yes, the work that was done was satisfactory however no work was performed for freeG*** likes to say that whenever you speak to him, but when you contract for services and are given a price and don't even question that price or ask for a discount, nothing is free - the customer is paying what the contractor demands for the work I actually had the company come for an estimate for a few small pieces of concrete needed to complete a fence installation Mr G*** brought up the sidewalk issue and I asked for a price to replace the squares that were marked by the town of oyster bay for replacement (which the town agreed to do years earlier but that's another story) g***s proposal left out a square which of course increased the price While notifying me of that, while I was out of state which he knows, he also talked me into having my driveway done At that time we discussed the strip across the front of the house and he agreed to do that work also I'm not sure why he thought the town would want more squares on the sidewalk replaced when they hadn't marked them for replacement, I felt he was using that as an excuse for not doing the small strip but he did promise to come back and do it and did not mention any additional charge The town has not requested any additional work on the sidewalk so there is no reason for the strip not to be doneAt the time, he had run out of concrete and said he would have to hand mix the concrete to do the square and he didn't want to do that Two things -Mr G*** states he has a triple A rating with Revdex.com, however the website states he has NO rating And any contractor can be on Angie's list if you pay the fee, there isn't even any recent activity on his profile there So basically, I hired him to provide services, paid him in full even though the job was not completed, trusted him to come back and finish it as he said he would, and now I'm stuck with one piece of the front of my house not doneWould Mr G*** accept this from a contractor he paid? I don't think so I did not call him back after his outrageous offer to finish the work for $because I don't want to fight with him on this anymore *** *** can finish the job or not finish the job for the price he was paid he will lose more than $in lost business due to bad reviews on Revdex.com, Angie's list and other review sites on social media It's up to him at this point
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above
Sincerely,

Please note I completed work (all concrete) for a customer located at a corner house back in April at the following (all information listed below is per proposal that was presented to customer; which was signed by the customer before any work was done):- Backyard patio- piece (25' x 7')-
piece (4' x 7')- piece (6' x 7')- Side door of the house walkway- piece (12' x 5')- Front of the house sidewalk- piece (53' x 4')- Side of the house sidewalk- piece (40' x 4')- Driveway- piece (25' x 10')- Front walkway leading to front door from the sidewalk- piece (1' x 3')Also note the following was done during the same time (April 2017), but wasn't listed on the proposal (all concrete work; no additional charge to customer):- pieces of sidewalk- each piece (4' x 4')- Front of the house meeting/running parallel to the sidewalk-piece (1' x 53')? Everything noted above was completed in good orderCustomer was extremely satisfied with all work doneCustomer was grateful that I did extra work for her at no additional charge. In May 2017, the customer contacted me and asked if I can come back to do piece of concrete (approx1.5' x 6') next to a piece of sidewalk that the town of Oyster Bay marked as a violation (prior to me doing any work at this house)Now please note there was an additional pieces that were marked by the town of Oyster Bay that also needed to be fixedThe customer ONLY requested to fix of the piecesWhen I asked her to fix the other pieces marked by the town, she replied, "I'm not spending anymore money and I dont care what the town says."I then told her if I fix the piece of concrete, theres still 2-pieces of concrete surrounding that specific pieceIf I did this only, when the town comes to inspect my work, there going to make me break up and fix the other 2-pieces of concrete that the customer is refusing to fixThis will then destroy and ruin the specific piece of concrete that the customer is requesting me to fix. After I called her, gave her a price to do the piece of concrete, and offered to put this additional work on a proposal for her to review and sign, she ignored to contact me backI then received a complaint that I wasn't coming back to do this job from the Revdex.com.? I'm an honest contractorI've been in business since with no complaintsI have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com and I'm also listed on *** ***
