I changed to this pain clinic due to the pain clinic I was going to was not being proactive in my care as well as I felt they we're being condescending. The first visit with doctor [redacted] was brief due to there was nothing to be done at that time I had already gotten my prescriptions from the other clinic I was seeking to find a doctor that would treat me with respect. I seen np [redacted] first he went over my history was very cordial and I felt comfortable with him that I had made the right choice. [redacted] comes in and he right off the bat states I need back injections I tried asking him about the procedure and he just write it down told me to get on website and watch it. I thought was very odd he would jump straight into injections without me having any imaging done but I figured he knew what he was doing and I would see what the injections were about thn I would decide. Well I watched the procedure decided not what I wanted to do at this time and called well above time to cancel procedure. On my next appointment was to be a refill appointment but they had scheduled one of those injections on this day as well that I didn't realize. I advised the receptionist I would not be doing that and she automatically got cold and rude to me. I went into room [redacted] came in arms folded we conversed briefly about the reasons as to why I didn't want the injection I told him I wanted images before then we conversed about my meds. I advised him a patch that was given to me seemed to be helping but irrates my skin and wanted to see about getting it in pill form he shook his head no said it didn't come in a pill form so I was like ok and we discussed the other meds out the door he was going I had to catch him and ask if he would atleast give me a cortisone shot in my hip that procedure had helped somewhat in the past. He said said I can so that and out te door he went. His tech came in with the shot I asked her aren't u going to give it in the bursa she advised no just in the tail. When I was being walked out by the tech she gave me the prescriptions and the order for images I looked at the meds seen that they lowered my count on one of them I questioned her she said oh well cause you didn't bring in your discharge from the other pain clinic this is what it is I said well I an fax that to y'all this is not going to work she dismissed me u figured ok I will get my images call the nurse and have the dr call me back by the time I get done with my images u can go back by the office and fix it by this time I was getting my daughter to fax him my discharge if that was the problem . I also called te pharmacy asked them if it wAs a pill form for the patch that was breaking me out he advised yes it was. I called his office left a message advised I needed all back with resolve in shortage and that the patch indeed has a pill form. The sarcastic tech called me back at 2:45 on Thursday said she would have to send my concerns to dr and when she received a response would call me back. Well it's been 6days waiting I have called everyday with all his office workers getting smart and belittling me hanging up in my face when I call back thy turn on the answering machine I have not been rude or even called excessively . I also was advised by my insurance company that the office sent my labs to was out of network so I'm looking at 1370$ bill for that when tried to talk to the billing department she had no clue what she was talking about kept telling me I need to contact the lab about the bill said they only use this lab they are under contract with them along with this they sent me to an imaging place that again was out of network on my insurance so I had to pay more than what u would have if they had if cared enough to check it. I have never been treated so incredibly badly in all my life from a facility I pay to treat me like this! I feel the dr retaliated against me due to the fact I did not want him sticking needles in my back without doing more diagnosing. I went to his office and pay for his services only to be treated like a low life no I take that back a low life would be treated better than I was. I am a daughter of a mother in hospice and a mother of a beautiful active little 3yr that expects his mommy to be able to get up in the morning to take care of him. I didn't choose the ailments that have taken over my life and body it chose me. It's bad enough I live daily in chronic pain but it's even worse when the doctor and his staff you pay to help you treats you as if your needs are meaningless. Dr [redacted] chose his line of profession and if he's going to look down his nose at the patients that pay him and have no empathy what so ever he needs to go into another line as well as get a whole new office staff that has been trained with simple etiquette. I did receive a return call from a [redacted] on Monday afternoon at 4:40pm unfortunately I did not get the call but he left a message. I called back 9am Tuesday got the same rude condescending desk clerk that no sooner I told er my name her whole demeanor changed said she would give him my message and hung up on me.
