Response to Revdex.com Complaint # 12502359The result of what has happen is a making of [redacted] herselfOnce the shower was ready to receive the glass Countrywide Construction contracted Southern Glass of STTammany to do the installThey made an initial visit to measure for the glass and at that time [redacted] mentioned to the rep measuring that she would like to use the granite ledge as a shelf, the repmentioned there was not enough space to do soUpon the return of Southern Glass of STTammany to install the glass [redacted] again stated that she wanted to use the ledge as a shelf and the installer told her there was not enough room to do soThe installer also told her that it would not be a good idea to move the glass forward to the edge of the curb just to create a shelf, but she insisted that it be done her way...As you can see from the photo provided the the glass door was install at the very edge of the curb as [redacted] instructed and you can also see how she is using the ledge as a shelfI have done many of showers in my many years as a contractor and never have I seen a glass company install a shower door at the very outside edge of a curbThere was more than enough room to install the glass door to the rear of the curb if not for [redacted] wanting her shelfWe have been Accredited members of the Revdex.com for many years and have had no complaints and we are very proud of thisWe have also assisted homeowners in the Baton Rouge area to recover from their loss and have had no other complaintsIf you have any questions please feel free to contact me [redacted] Countrywide Construction, LLC
