I placed an order for a Air compressor and dryer in early November 2018. I have been constantly in contact with the salesperson on receiving these items in a timely manner. Craig (the sale person) told me it was shipped out on Dec 12, 2018 via truck to Carson California. I contacted him again on Dec 14 for ta tracking number, A parcel was located and delivered but it was not all items. On Jan 2, I was notified that a parcel arrived and when I checked it, it was only the dryer and not the compressor. The problem is the timely manner for the delivery of these items is not acceptable and moreover, I will be charged twice for the shipping from California to Hawaii, Also the leasing of a compressor during this delay is adding to my overall cost.

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. takes issues with our customers seriously and has always looked to provide a mutually agreeable resolutions should the circumstances warrant. Last year Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. has served over 1,000 customers online. This is our first complaint that the customer has felt the need to escalate any issue to this level. Our Terms and Conditions as well as Shipping policies are clearly stated on our website. The policies are there so that our customers can clearly understand their rights as well as what Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. is responsible for. Unfortunately, for Mr. in this case, Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. was in no way acting outside of normal operating procedures as outlined in our terms and conditions as well as acted in good faith throughout this transaction. We will layout our side by addressing Mr. original complaint addressing it sentence by sentence.

Customer’s Statement of the Problem:

· Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. originally provided the quotation to Mr. on 11/1/18. He did not move to finalize the purchase for nearly two weeks following the initial proposal. Mr. did not provide Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. the correct credit card information until 11/14. So, Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. were not able to process the order until 11/14. Once we received the correct information, we processed his payment.

I have been constantly in contact with the salesperson on receiving these items in a timely manner.

· Mr. was informed and it is clearly noted on our website that there is a 3-6 Week Lead Time on the compressor he purchased. Mr. knew that these items were being drop shipped directly from the manufacturers and that there was a lead time on the compressor.

Craig (the sale person) told me it was shipped out on Dec 12, 2018 via truck to Carson California.

· Per the Email Transcript from 12/12, Craig did not say it was being shipped on the 12th.

I contacted him again on Dec 14 for ta tracking number,

· Craig was out of office on that Friday and responded with the tracking number on 1 of 2 items on Monday the 17th. The Compressor also shipped out on the 17th as well via *** Trucking

A parcel was located and delivered but it was not all items.

· There was no agreement or note that the items must be delivered together. Mr. was advised when placing the order that the 2 pieces would be shipping from separate manufacturers. It was not our responsibility to coordinate arrival of the shipments with his freight forwarder.

On Jan 2, I was notified that a parcel arrived and when I checked it, it was only the dryer and not the compressor.

· We are not sure whether Mr. means that he was notified a parcel arrived on Jan 2nd at his freight forwarder (which is who we shipped to) or Hawaii his location. We do know that one item was delivered to his freight forwarder on 12/20. (Conformable by Tracking numbers) The other piece of equipment arrived at the *** Shipping hub on 12/28 which was a Friday. Due to the New Year Holiday, delivery arrangements were not able to be made with Mr. Freight Forwarder until 1/3. Final Delivery was made on 1/4.

The problem is the timely manner for the delivery of these items is not acceptable

· Mr. was advised of the lead time on these pieces of equipment. It is noted on our website as well. We are sorry he feels that the delivery times are unacceptable. However, these lead times are quite the standard within the industry when buying this type of equipment. Furthermore, being the end of the year freight delivery times are slower for everything due to the holidays, Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. has not control over this.

and moreover, I will be charged twice for the shipping from California to Hawaii, Also the leasing of a compressor during this delay is adding to my overall cost.

· Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. assumes no responsibility in delivery from Mr. Freight Forwarder to himself in Hawaii. As well, there is no onus on Compressed Air Advisors to coordinate the Bill of Lading items between Mr. freight forwarder and himself, this was his responsibility. Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. delivered the items to the designated destination (freight forwarder) in as proficient manner as was in our control.

Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. truly regrets that Mr. is frustrated with his interaction with us. However, Compressed Air Advisors, Inc. has acted faithfully and was diligent in trying to do what we were able to expedite his order.
