Wrongful Foreclosure
I inherited my mother's home. Did not hear from HUD's new servicer till a year and a half after they took over for Novad. They called me asked me one question then lied to me when I asked for a new payoff saying I had to ask HUD for that.

Then they tried foreclosing using a cured default I cured in 2018 filing the NOD/NTS on the same day. I learned of the foreclosure from door knockers showing me on their phones. I wasn't sent any notices - of default, interest changes (for 3 yrs), monthly statements (for 35 mos) .

When I saw the loan had jumped $74K in 2 years something wasn't right! Got the illegal foreclosure postponed, requested the accounting and default be rescinded like it should have been right after curing it. Then I acquired a probate court ordered grant deed I recorded gave them notice twice of my Grant Deed.

They gave me the accounting I requested a month prior and saw a lot of fraudulent charges as they were equity stripping the home. They ignored my Notices of Error and Qualified Written Requests. They were threatening me in phone messages after I filed a complaint with DFPI. Then they fabricated a default without notice to me filing both the NOD?NTS the same day with less than 45 days to sale. They foreclosed in my mother's name in spite of my complaint filed with the court before the sale leaving my Grant Deed in place.

I filed a complaint with CFPB a couple months after the sale and made the complaint public with all the details known to me at that time if anyone wants to learn all the gory details yoyu can find it there. Since the fraudulent sale and my complaint with CFPB and finally finding a competent attorney I learned much more!

AARP has 3 class actions at present against Compu-Link for a lot of the things that were done to me. As a matter of fact it was through the assistance of AARP's senior attorney and lead attorney for the class actions who helped me gather evidence for months I could not have done it with out the help, support and guidance.

Many seniors have been experiencing and ultimately losing their homes to extortion by Compu-Link. This is a systemic problem and this company should NOT be handling HECM loans! They should be held on criminal charges of Racketeering/RICO and put out of business!

We closed on a reverse mortgage last year with CELINK We have had nothing but issues with them We call and talk with a person, another person will call about the same issue It seems like no one there talks to one another, or no notes are put in our file We have faxed them numerous times, I have a receipt showing that it went thru and not once have they received it I could go on and one but it has been a year of stress!!
Looking into buying our mortgage back!!!!!
