Review: I ordered a red, Nikon Coolpix camera on 10/**/12 and it promised to be delivered by 10/**/12. The camera is listed online at the companies web site as a red Nikon Coolpix for $339.00 and included a 'bundle' of FREE items. I did NOT receive my camera by 10/**/12 as promised, and when we picked it up from FedEx upon our return from vacation, it was not what I ordered. The camera is BLACK instead of RED, and is not in the original Nikon box, but a plain white box with a homemade label. The camera does not appear to be new or in it's original packaging. I immediately began calling Compudeals2u.com. It took me MANY calls to even get someone to answer the phone and I finally got [redacted] on the phone on 11/**/12. [redacted] began to scream at me on the phone and I asked to speak with someone who could help me. I then spoke with [redacted] who said he would e-mail me a Return Authorization. When I asked him to confirm my e-mail address (since I had NEVER received the e-mail confirmation for my initial order), HE started screaming at me too! My husband [redacted] got on the phone with [redacted] and he started yelling at my husband too! [redacted] then said they would NOT be sending the RA form that we needed to return the camera! My husband and I have NEVER been treated like this by any company and it proves to us that they are not on the ‘up and up’. I feel completely taken advantage of and I want my money back. I cannot believe that this company is allowed to do business. I noticed that they used to be called 'More 4 Less' and they are listed on the Revdex.com website with an "F" grade and the SAME address as 'Compudeals2u.com'... I believe they just changed their name to 'dodge' all the other complaints against them! I called them back again today (3/**/13) to ask nicely again if I could return the camera before filing this complaint and they said, "No". When I said I would be filing a complaint they said, "No problem!" The camera was advertised online for $339 with a lot of free items included in a ‘bundle’. The camera also advertised FREE shipping. I was told I was being charged $22.50 for expedited shipping to guarantee delivery by 10/**. If you add $339 and $22.50 it does not come to $422.50. I was told I would receive an e-mailed receipt and I never received anything via e-mail confirming my order. I didn’t see the final price until I picked the camera up at FedEx. At the MOST the total should have been $361.50, not $422.50. Again, nothing about this company seems legitimate.Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to return this camera at no cost to me, and I want a credit to my American Express card of $422.50.
Review: I ordered a camera online from this company. The online price was $129 and included a camera case and stated that I could choose the camera color. I indicated red. In the specs for the camera it included a memory card. When the camera came, the invoice stated I was charged $224.95. (Invoice #[redacted]). I called to ask why and was told they had automatically included a battery for $39.99 and the memory card was $15.00. They also stated I was charged for package insurance at the rate of $10. None of this was stated in the online order form I had completed. Also, the camera I received was black. They told me on the phone that I wasn't allowed to choose the color. The camera case that was included was too small for the camera. When I complained, they said, "we said a free camera case, we didn't say it would fit your camera." I then asked for a larger camera case and a memory card, which had not been included even though I was charged for it. It took 6 weeks and several calls for these things to finally arrive.Desired Settlement: I would like to see the on-line information be more honest about price, the difference between $129 and $224.95 refunded, and an apology.
Review: On Dec. [redacted] I ordered a Camera from this company for 99.00 on their web site. On dec ** I received a phone call from a sales person that the camera was not an English camera, that the English camera was more money. After talking with this person the bill ended up being 164.50 charged to my Master Card. I emailed and called the company. After getting ahold of a customer service person to ask him to cancel and refund my credit card, I was told that the product was already shipped and there was nothing he could do about refunding my credit card the $164.50. So I waited for the product to come in to me in the mail. After receiving the camera product I returned it to Compudeals2u at [redacted] and enclosed a letter asking for a full refund. The tracking number for the US Postal services is: [redacted], insured postage which was accepted by them. After a month I contacted my credit card company to see f they could reverse the charges. Compudeals2u rejected and refuse my credit company a refund based on a return policy. This took about a month to get a letter from my credit card saying the I was declined from reinvestment. The return policy must be hidden on there Site because I never could find it. On Feb **, 2013 I call the customer Service Department of Compudeals2u, I was told by a man name [redacted] that they don't have the camera and they have no proof they have it. I was also told that it come had been return to anyone site they have. It all boils down to the act that, first I was bated into purchasing a more costly camera at a higher price. Compudeals2u will not refund my $164.50 to my credit card. They will not send me back the camera products. So I don't have the product or my money. I'm handicap and disabled and can only order online. I feel that I was scammed by this company. I have no product and don't have my money as well. Can you help me, all I really want now it for Compudals2u to send me back my products I originally ordered. CompuDeals2u order number is: [redacted] and my cr is: [redacted]. Can you pease help me to do what is right. Thank You, [redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: All I want is for Compudeals2u to send me back the items I originally ordered from them on my order number [redacted] with no other charges attached and I would be satisfied with the return of theses product.
Review: ,I ordered 3 cameras for $482.00, I called them to confirm the order and a sales person told me that 1 was out stock, also he ask me if I wan't to buy a battery for the cameras for 39.99 because is not included. I said yes.I received to cameras with the battery as well, but they sent me accesories for the cameras that I never ordered , tripod, cleaning kits, sd reader, bags and they charged me to my card a $599.00 only 2 cameras, batteries and accesories.they sent me a bill that doesnt explain how much cost each item, only says bundle package $599.00.when I called the costumer service was horrible,I told them that I was very disapointed with this transaction and this salesperson told me that I dont understand anything that comes from his mouth and that I never should order from them. I ask for refund and they want to charge $140 for restocking fee.Desired Settlement: please I want the $599.00 back to my card.
Review: Purchased a Nikon Coolpix S9300 for $254 over the holidays, never received a shipping confirmation from Compudeals, called and finally got a tracking number - Fed Ex supposedly had the package in [redacted] but it was never found, placed a incident report with Fed Ex and filed a claim, then Compudeals said to let them handle the claim and cancel mine with Fed Ex. Was told a refund was going through in April, and a new claim was being filed, never received it, was told a refund was going through 5/**, never received it, was told a claim was processing with Fed Ex and would get a call when the refund would go through in June, never received it. Have multiple e-mails that never got answered, customer phone service is always lacking, they don't note every time you call. Called again 7/** and was told I will not be receiving a refund because it's been too long and there's nothing they can do.Desired Settlement: Refund
Review: On December **, 2012 I went online to purchase a digital camera and I found Compudeals2u.com. They had a promotion that if you purchase a camara, I was going to receive whole kit with case, tripod and free shipping. I placed an order on a Nikon CoolPix S8200 Digital Camera with Battery & charger, 8GB Professional Ultra-High Speed Memory Card , Digital pint & shoot Camera Case, SD High Speed Card Reader. The price was $129.00 for everything and they emailed me an order confirmation, then when I called them for my tracking number they told me that I had to pay extra for the accessories and then my purchase went from $129.00 To $209.00. They told me that my camera had been already shipped to me but I never received it so when I called them again they then told me that theyh no longer had the Nikon S8200 and that they would sent me an upgraded Nikon $9200. I spoke to someone whom said his name was [redacted] in customer service he promised me that I would received it by Friday December **, 2012, he gave me his word that it was shipped but I never received my camera. I called again but they told me that I would get a call back with the tracking number but never received a call , they just continue lyingDesired Settlement: I would like for them to refund my credit card and for others to know that they are a scam so that no one else falls into their lies
