The tech Adam was very prompt. He took over my computer and started working on the issue right away. I believe the service he's done would be perfect. I have to work on my computer to make sure it is working without any pop ups.

Review: This co. told me they could fix my PC ( Audio recording program ) so I let them into my PC and after about 2 hrs. they couldn't do it and told me to watch U-tube to help me.!?!?!??!! I told them I watched U-Tube untill 4 in the morning last night trying to find a fix . AND I really did !They charged me $399.00 for a 2 year contract yet they couldn't fix my PC and did not call me the next day! Or since then.I called them asking for my money back Supervisor said he would have their billing dept. call me the next day...No phone call ! I told them I will not be using their service..... I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!!Desired Settlement: I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!!!!!!!!! $399.00

Review: I called this company, Compute My PC, to talk to them about my problem and I was told someone in bookkeeping would call me back, and no one called me back. This was over weeks ago.

I paid an exorbitant amount of money ($300)) for their computer services. The man I talked to said they were the only service I would need because they could fix both software and network problems. They were able to help me with a few small problems. Then I had a large computer problem. My computer would not connect to the Internet at all. Then the screen went black and I was told my computer was no good anymore and their company could not fix it. I then called [redacted] and for $239, [redacted] fixed it quickly by going into what I call the 'backdoor'. I cannot afford to pay $300 to a company who can fix only the most simple problems and then $239 to a company who knows how to fix the hard problems. I asked the company to pro-rate how much money they thought I used already and then to kindly refund the money I didn't use. I figured I used about $50 of the $300 and I should get $250 back. They gave me false advertising and told me there wasn't a computer problem they couldn't fix. Then I was told my computer was no good anymore just because they couldn't fix it. [redacted] fixed my problem immediately. To date I haven't heard a word from this company.Desired Settlement: Ideally I would receive a check in the mail for $250

Review: I paid this company $279 for a 4 year service of antispyware service. yet 3mos later I had to take my computer in for service to micro center, and it was noted that I had 161 viruses on my computer. when I called the number given to me and demanded a refund they told me that they would contact me...it took 3 phone calls then they said thay would contact me at 2pm the next day, they did not. i've tried to call them, just get voicemail. I am at wit's end.Desired Settlement: I only want my money back. iwouls take a prorated refund as i've supposedly had protection for 3mos or less. the amount would be $261.60....if proratede. this company should be investigated...at least for the very fa ct that they have no compunction of taking advantage of americian citizens

Review: I was looking for a Skype technical support phone number-a coworker gave me an 800 number for what I thought was Skype. The person who answered made it sound like he worked for Skype. He asked for my Skype user name and password, and then asked for remote access to my computer. He said Skype wasn't working because I had several viruses and Trojans on my computer, and asked if I wanted to be connected to another company, Compute My PC, that could fix my problem. I was then transferred to a person named [redacted] (these guys all work for the same company, I later learned), who said he got the information from Skype and showed me all the viruses on my computer. He then offered to eliminate the viruses for 299.99, and that I didn't have to pay them till the work was done, but that I would have to pay them by check as they didn't accept credit card payment. While he was working on my computer, I called my daughter, who looked at their company info online and told me that I needed to stop letting them access my computer, as it was not clear they were legitimate, since Skype does not offer phone support. We then spoke with [redacted] to let him know that we were not going to pay him as he misrepresented himself and what his company did, and lied his way onto my computer. He would not transfer us to a manager and insisted he was affiliated with Skype and was providing legitimate services to me that required payment. He later lowered the price to 99.99 and emailed a bill asking for an immediate email response and a promise of payment, which needed to be by check to a Wells Fargo Bank in Atlanta, GA. We got off the phone at that point, and he called my daughter back a few minutes later. My daughter told him that we would not be responding to his email that night and hung up on him. We have set up fraud alerts with the credit reporting agencies and my bank and credit cards in case they accessed personal information from my computer.Desired Settlement: I will not be paying this company for anything they did to my computer and I want them to rescind their invoice for $99.99. I don't want something showing up on my credit report as being unpaid when I was misled and my computer victimized.

About this incident, we think [redacted] was not sure about the all the services she is availing and from where she is availing from. $299.99 was offered for the entire repair, security updates and a complete 1 year support. After the work is done [redacted] has refused to pay and $99 was asked for only the repair on the Computer errors. We have done our job and still [redacted] did not pay us. Also, we do not take and keep any of the personal or financial details.

Review: I think I have been conned by this group. I was called from someone who advised me that he was with COX, my internet provider advising me that my email and computer had been hacked in Russia and there were complaints about my address. He asked me a number of questions and then advised that he would try to help me. We then went through some processes with my computer and he advised me that he could not help me. He then advised me that he could connect me with a government funded group that could help me and their fees were reasonable, I would have 2 Microsoft and 2 Cisco people handling my problem and I was connected to Compute My PC LLC. I spoke with [redacted] and he advised that it would be $299.99 to get rid of the Trojan and clean up my computer. I told him I could not afford it and he said he would give me his $40.00 discount bringing it to $249.99. I agreed to a payment of $150.00 in February and the balance in March, 2014 and watched from time to time as my computer was cleaned and at the end I was advised that the Trojan was gone and security had been installed. I signed off on it. The next day I sent an email to confirm what the security covered. I wanted to make sure I had a Firewall and anti-virus. I had no response. I have followed up with two more emails and have still no response. The time span is 2/17 - 2/27/14.
