On November 10, 2015, I placed an order on the Moda Flame Web site for an [redacted] Elite Flame Inch Orbit Fire Ball Water Resistant Firepit Black Cover and for a Elite Flame Orbit Fire Ball Garden Light Fire Box Fire Bowl Outdoor Fire Pit On November 11, I received an email indicating that my order had been shipped On November 13, my shipment arrived without the firepit coverI emailed the company and notified them of the incomplete shipment I received an email reply telling me that "Yes the cover will be shipped separately as the cover is currently on back order and will be available middle to third week of December." I emailed the company again the second week in December, asking when my firepit cover would be shippedAfter receiving no response, I called the company and was told that the firepit cover was due to be shipped out to me December The firepit cover never arrived I contacted the company via email on December and said that if the firepit cover was not

I purchased a very expensive Liter BioEthanol burner from them via [redacted] , the burner that I got was clearly used previously (shipped directly from Modaflame) and I contacted them to get the burner exchanged They refuse to answer their phones, I've called them at least times a day, every day for a month If I send an email it takes them several days if at all to respond, only then to be given the run around asking for "photos, details, part numbers, etc.." after I send them the information, they claim they never got it, make me resend again and wait another weekIts been nearly a month, I've sent them 40+ emails to date, the "replacement" they sent me was not the product that I purchased, nor was it newit was used, wrapped in saran wrap, and scratched!!! It should NEVER take a month for them to replace their item under their "UNCONDITIONAL" warranty!

Initially placed order for fireplace insert for on December After not hearing from company for a few days I called and found out that the product I had ordered was backorderedSo I chose another product which I was told was almost identical but would be in within a weekafter two weeks I have still not heard or received anything from the moda flame company So again I contacted them which takes an entire day because nobody ever answers the phoneAgain I was told it should be arriving in daysAfter days still no product still no information from the company So again I contacted them requesting to cancel my order they stated that my product was in their possession and will be shipped out within a day or two so rather than cancel I agreed as long as it was there within a few daysAgain two weeks goes bye and I had not heard anything or received anything from the companyI contacted the company again asking where the product was and they sent me a tracking number

Moda Flame Vigo Ventless Tabletop fireplace (which I purchased on August 9, 2015) was in use at my home when a vapor burst/explosion occurred causing severe harm to my guest Second and third degree burns on hands, arms, chest, neck and ear needed grafting and will need future grafting surgeries Attempts by insurance adjuster to put Moda Flame on notice were to no avail Further attempts to report incident to Artem Galperin via phone calls, email, certified mail and fed ex were not successful One response was received from a salesperson, Alex, stating they have no intentions of looking into this tragedy and have no insurance for such matters

I purchased some Modaflame ceramic logs for my fireplaceThe logs burned terribly, charring and emitting carbon soot which was invisible until I began noticing sediment all over my houseBy then it had gotten into my HVAC system and the soot damage was everywhere! I had to make a homeowner's claim on my brand new house to have it complete cleaned from floor to ceilingWhile Modaflame did refund the cost of the logs, they refuse to respond regarding compensation for the extensive damage to my homeAs others have stated, attempts to contact the company and owner, A*** G***, are futileMy attempts to get help thru the State of South Carolina have been futile as well:(
