Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:the store again refuses to let me exchange a computer that was updated within a few days of my purchaseThe only word I regret in my complaint is "obsolete." I should have stated the computer I purchased...within a matter of daysbecame outdatedApple, by the way had not updated this computer for more than a yearI am deeply disheartened by this self-proclaimed "Apple Specialist Store's" response to my complaint, but not surprised since Computer Dimensions even rejected Apple's plea to "do the right thing." The only recourse I now have is to submit a Consumer Review with the Revdex.com, contact Apple Inc to advise them of the level of customer service at this Apple Specialist Store, and alert consumers concerning this local business's abysmal return policy through every social media outlet I can findComputer Dimensions' return policy (and I assume exchange policy as I requested) is this: Returns for full-refund are ONLY allowed on the DAY you buy a product...and if the consumer or store opens the "box' to see if the right product is inside or for shipping damages...then your full refund is gone and you are stuck with what you just paid forCD calls the recent Macbook upgrade "minor." Faster performance and longer battery life on this portable Macbook are important to me and I dare say would be just as important to any purchaser

replacement sometime between tomorrow and the next eight months.  But, it will be seven years before any product is declared obsolete by Apple Inc.Unfortunately, Apple introduces new or updated products without advanced notice to resellers, so we are unable inform consumers that an update is coming.  In this case, it was a minor update announced the week following her computer purchase.Our policy is no return for open products, products with activated warranties, or products put into use by the customer, or by us at the customer's request.  We cannot resell these items as new, or return them to Apple.
