Review: This company is taking advantage of the people in this building. I live in a building with 168 units [redacted] Apartments. Most of the tenants are either seniors citizens, Vets, or mental ill. Most have no one to assist them with there problems. This company is taking advantage of us. The charge us a fee of 9 dollar a month for Administration fee. What Administration fee? I nor anyone in this building asked them to install a meter and I never asked them to read my meter. This building gets a block of energy at a fixed price then charges us what they want. When I asked them to send a meter reader to check if the meter is broken. They wanted to charge me for that. we have 168 units in this building so they are making $1,512.00 a month. They are taking advantage of us. can you please help me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of $9.00 fees that I have been paying them

Your complaint to the Revdex.com contains information and allegations that are quite wrong. If you had phoned this office for an explanation we could have saved you some time and aggravation.

I just tried to have a lengthy talk with you and tried to explain and answer your questions.

1 . We are NOT taking advantage of anybody in Plaza Senior Apartments since the ADMINISTRATION FEE of $9.00 is the fee that we are paid to accomplish the work of readinq the meter,

producing the monthly electric bill,mailing it to you, receiving your payment check,doing the bookeeping, producing the monthly pay records and maintaining the meter accuracy. We are only being paid for our SERVICES, I am sure you will aqree. [redacted] charges $ 1 8.75 PER MONTH for the same services SIR.

2. There is no such thing as the building buying energy in a block Sir. They buy energy like everyone else.....as used on a RATE as approved by the Public Service Commission. I tried to explain this to you during our conversation.

3. Your bill is produced from the Monthly Daily Record, which I have enclosed a copy o:e , and the RATE charged by the utility. , they do NOT CHARGE WHAT THEY WANT as you suggest.

4. We read the meter every month and charge accordingly as noted.
