This is by far the worst customer service ive ever had to deal with

I bought a Bosch appliance from East Cost two years ago We had problems with the ice maker and the rust forming on the doors One reason of three reasons we chose East Coast Appliance was product line, price, and service was advertised as "factory trained"Based on this first visit the service rep they sent could not make any judgment calls on the performance of the refrigerator without reading the owners manual or constantly calling back to East Coast appliance to ask questions Nothing was resolved from this visit I had to call Bosch directly to get assistance
two years later, we have another mechanical problem and the replaced doors are rusting again The service rep they sent out also had to read the owner's manual and had to open and inspect the refrigerator in order to determine what the internal system were as if he had never seen a Bosch product He then said he had to get back to us and would call us the following Monday The visit was Friday I called Bosch to also report the problem, Bosch called East Coast East Coast did not call me for a week and I had to call them after waiting days from the initial visit East Coast still has not contacted Bosch
Their service reps are not factory trained as advertised This would have been nice to know up front instead of their misleading advertisement I do not recommend shopping here unless price is your only consideration

My wife & I purchased a GE Washer Model *** & Dryer set on Friday 1/15/from East Coast Appliance on *** *** *** ** *** XXXXXDelivered on Sunday 1/17/to our homeRan the machines a few times during the course of hours & on Thursday 1/21/we called East Coast because we believed that we had received a Washer that was simply brokenWe washed a few loads & the GE Washer soaks the clothes more than quadruple that amount needed & we have to ring them out or times before we can put them in our dryerThe Spin cycle isn't working, it cuts off after 1-minutes when it should go for So we called East Coast, talked with *** "the Customer SerSupervisor" & asked them to deliver a new machine & we had it for full daysThey said it was basically not their problem & that we needed to call the manufactureEast Coast explained that the manufacture was responsible for the first year of warranty then our 3yr warranty startsIt was now our responsibility to call GE & try to get a new machineThey stated once they have delivered the machines to your residence & if the machines just "turned on" then they do not have permission to take the machines backStating that they had no return policyI asked to speak with her supervisor & she said that the owner was the only person above herThe best they could do was send a service repair individual out on 28th, one week laterWe haven't been able to wash our clothes since the 17th in fear that these over drenched clothes will end up breaking the dryer & then we will have to fight to replace thatIt isn't satisfactory customer service for a company to just take your money & drop off machines then to just pass you on to the manufacture when the machines don't work correctly.East Coast Appliance should stand by their products or they should have to work with the manufacture to get a replacement.The customer should not have to give you their hard earned money and then have to fight to get a new machine that workIt is now 2/3/and I have still not received another washerIf you are reading this, do not buy from East Coast ApplianceI am a huge supporter of small businesses and went with this company because they are considered a small businessSome small businesses do not deserve your support and this is one of themAs the consumer, if you do read this and still decide to buy from them; It is your own fault

We bought three appliances for East Coast of VA Beach. The sales experience was fine and while we were not pressured to get an extended warranty, we wanted one. We were not given any paperwork. Everything was discussed verbally. This is something I would recommend everyone get in writing and review before purchasing.

We received this paperwork in the mail after sale and it looks fine.

They honored the lowest advertised price AFTER we left the store and we did get a refund to our credit card.

Our washer and dryer was to be delivered today between a three hour window. Two hours after the window, the delivery truck arrived. Received a late call because I sent an email apologizing (from the office).

Frig was not in stock and will be delivered next week.

I can't say East Coast is stellar but some of the reviews seem really bad compared to the small glitches we had.

I would go back to East Coast in VA Beach.

This is by far the worst customer service ive ever had to deal with.
