May 1st my assistant [redacted] received a call from [redacted] (year client of June) calling to check on her refund The return had not been filed electronically We filed the return on May 1st as we told her we would [redacted] is not in on Tuesday this time of year so on Wednesday May 3rd we emailed [redacted] of filing and of IRS acceptance of the return electronicallyThe $fee was for the preparation of the income tax return not for filing it electronically The complaint does not question the accuracy of the return.However, [redacted] did receive her refund about two weeks later than she would have otherwise In my attempt to contact ***, I left her a message that I would be willing to pay any late fees arising from the two week delay in getting her refund but at this time I have not heard from her [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] finally responded to my complaint with Revdex.com after almost a month! The fact of the matter is that my tax forms sat on some ones desk for days (just like his response)....so the week comment that he mentioned is invalid alreadyI can't imagine running a business that doesn't fulfill the customers needs after paying $for preparation and submitting and filing taxesI was delayed over weeks plus two additional weeks in receiving my refund, despite what [redacted] replied in his response as to two weeks? I am unsatisfied as to the phone call which took days to get to me! What an amazing way to run a business [redacted] not onlydid not offer to comp any portion of the $I paid but also said he wasn't sure why the preparer didn't apologizeI wrote my check to his company 'Computer Taxes' so I believe the company owes me the refund and the apology, not the preparerI found no satisfaction in his voice mail and nor did he offer any type of explanation or apology, let alone a refundI am finished with this business and will write reviews that reflect the already negative review that is found on lineWhat a shameThis could have been remedied more easilyI have taught customer service to degree seeking adults for years and this is a great scenario of what not to do! I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] finally responded to my complaint with Revdex.com after almost a month! The fact of the matter is that my tax forms sat on some ones desk for 21 days (just like his response)....so the 2 week comment that he mentioned  is invalid already. I can't imagine running a business that doesn't fulfill the customers needs after paying $250 for preparation and submitting and filing taxes. I was delayed over 3 weeks plus two additional weeks in receiving my refund, despite what [redacted] replied in his response as to two weeks? I am unsatisfied as to the phone call which took 25 days to get to me! What an amazing way to run a business. [redacted] not only... did not offer to comp any portion of the $250 I paid but also said he wasn't sure why the preparer didn't apologize. I wrote my check to his company 'Computer Taxes' so I believe the company owes me the refund and the apology, not the preparer. I found no satisfaction in his voice mail and nor did he offer any type of explanation or apology, let alone a refund. I am finished with this business and will write reviews that reflect the already negative review that is found on line. What a shame. This could have been remedied more easily.
