In response to *** *** complaint, this is the second response I have formerly written responding to this matterI Mark s*i owner of Computer Tune And Lube have personally explained our business warranty policy, which is once again , This Service Center warrants that service and repairs performed at this service center will be free from defect in materials and workmanship for months or 12,miles, whichever first occurs, provided the repaired vehicle is subjected only to use and serviceThe first time we were notified of this matter was receiving a email from the Revdex.com two weeks after she had a repair issueFurthermore she has these terms and conditions on the back of her original repair orderI have asked several times to receive a repair receipt from the licensed facility she had this repaired with, along with the faulty parts and she has declinedIf *** *** followed correct warranty procedures which are clearly written on her original repair order any defective parts would of been covered at no cost to herUnfortunately she did not follow proper procedure and at this point in time I have done every thing I can to assist her in this matterPlease do not hesitate to contact me with any questions I can be contacted via email or at 860-874-. I am rejecting this response because:I spoke with M*** *** *** claims he is the owner of all the Computer Tune and Lubes, including the *** *** *** location I explained that my car broke down due to their shoddy workmanship on June 10th at p.m Their business was closed at the time I could not get "prior authorization" to do any repairs I had *** tow the car and the mechanic found that the strut was broken This strut was just repaired on 2/8/ Mark questioned why I did not go to them and I let him know that I did not trust what happened I was lucky that I was not hurt, didn't hit anyone, or total the car I had no control at all over the car -- the steering wheel veered completely to the right I was lucky that I was on a slow road (MPH) I was able to brake hard and just missed the trees at the edge of the road I told him that the mechanic felt that the repair was sabotaged (just repeated his words) Mark said "We don't run a funeral home And that is a bit cuckoo" Very condescending I told him I just wanted him to stand behind his work He said that they handled 50,cars/year (not sure why I needed to know this) I simply want reimbursement for this warranty covered repair.He asked me to fax him the invoices for the repairs to him tomorrow (July 1st) at fax #*** and that he would call back to discuss I will do so Please leave this open -- not resolvedPlease note that the total credit card charges were $(I pulled the receipts: *** $200, *** $711.33).Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions My work number is *** and home # is ***Thank you for your assistance in attempting to resolve this matter Sincerely,

To whom it may concern,In response to complaint filed by *** ***s, this is the first notice of this issue we have receivedWe stand behind our work and everything would be covered under our year mile warranty which is on the back of the repair order *** *** hasIn order to obtain
this warranty service which would of been offered to *** *** at no expense to her, the repair must be performed by our service centerShould that be impossible due to mechanical breakdown, or the geographic area of our service station, emergency warranty service is available, with prior authorization only, by our service centerAuthorization may be obtained by calling our businessIn which we never received any call from ** *** As of June 30th at a.mI personally have reached out and have to spoke to ** ***s husband and have a message into *** *** regarding this matter

Review: Mis-diagnosed emissions problem. Charged for a diagnosis. They estimated the repair cost would be $1100.00. Went elsewhere and had it fixed for less than $300.00. Their diagnosis didn't identify the real problem and they tried to sell me unnecessary items. Went back for a retest of emissions; the shop owner said the truck needed to be driven for 100 miles and then retested. I drove it the prescribed miles and then they tested it and they said the computer had not re-set. The counter person and the owner (via phone) then kept guessing at why the computer had not re-set. neither had an answer except to drive it for an unspecified number of days or miles and then bring it back. They appear to have no technical or customer service skill. When asked for a refund of the diagnosis fee the shop owner refused and told me he had recorded his phone call with me.Desired Settlement: Refund the diagnosis fee
