Computer Nerds / Data Recovery Reviews (%countItem)

I had my brand new 65 inch TV mounted to my living room wall over a year ago by John P, business owner of Computer Nerds Inc. The TV fell off the wall, and is completely destroyed along with damage to my wall, table, and floor.

John did not anchor the full motion mount to studs in the wall, but only to the drywall (which was brand new). The force of the 55lb TV pulled them out over time, and bent the screws. I spoke with my drywall contractor, and other TV mounting service companies and they all agree that a TV that size, with a full motion mount should always be placed in the studs to be safe.

His reasoning as to why he is not liable is below:

1. "There is moisture in the drywall in which he claims to see from pictures I sent. Drywall isn’t supposed to be gray, it’s normally white, which means it got wet at some point.”

- A simple *** search of 'gray drywall' states:
"All drywall has one thing as its core—gypsum, a common mineral found globally. ... There is paper on the back (usually brown) and the face, which, in the case of regular drywall, is gray. Regular drywall can be used throughout a house and comes in a number of dimensions—the most common size is a 4-foot by 8-foot sheet."

2. “I remember you telling me you had to rush the drywall inside from the rain.”

- The drywall was delivered on July 16th, 2018 (I have receipts) - Weather history shows no rain that day.
***. “The wall is not framed properly as it is pieced together for the in-wall speakers.”
- Whether this is true or not, the TV was still not mounted to the studs that were there. Only secured to the drywall.

represented himself as a tax accountant. He told me he had been working as a tax accountant for years for a firm in *** that is no longer open. He stated he does taxes for people now himself as a tax accountant. He asked for $700 to do my back taxes and me and my wifes 2016 tax return. He told me he doesn't charge like everyone else does, he is not out to break any bank, just to get people taxes done for less.

I found his *** stating he does taxes for $90. I should have known then something was up. *** came over to my house to get my tax returns and to talk about filing the past returns for me and present. Seemed like a nice guy at f*t and that he knew what he was talking about. A few weeks went buy and *** told me he was making receipts for past taxes that I had spent so he could modify what I owed in past years. Thru the phone and text it seemed like he was getting alot of things done.

2 days before taxes where done I asked if he had filed everything yet. *** told me no. I asked why and he told me he could not finish my taxes unless I gave him an additional $2000. I was told by *** that he would not finish my taxes or give my information back to me and I would be stuck. He strong armed me into paying him. I had no other choice. I did not have my returns to do it myself or pass to HR Block to do them for me. He had all my info and now was demanding extra money from me. What could I do but pay him at this point.

I told him to come over so I could pay him. He told me he would show me all the work he had done and I would be impressed. When he came over he showed me nothing. I asked for the receipts he had made, he had none, I asked for any paper work he had done and he had none. He showed me blank forms and asked me to sign them. I did not know better and signed them anyway. I saw later on the *** site never sign black forms. Its a sign of a fraud.

The last day for filing is now here and *** tells me everything has been electronically sent. I feel releived. Later that day he tells me it was not sent and he needs to come to my place of work and print everything out. I told him I payed you $2700 and you don't have your own printer or office to do it yourself*

Later that day he tells me everything is done and what time will I be home. I meet him at my house again. He gets there and says to me as walking up the steps, I know you have a printer here right? I say excuse me? Your not done everything and you came here to print things out! What have you done all day. I told him to get out, I don't have a printer and now this is the second time you told me you where done.

Later that night he tells me everything is done again and he is going to mail everything off. He text me a photo of an envelope with my name on it and the ***. Takes a photo of a receipt but never meets with me to give me the receipt of proof.

Later I find out he did the federal only and not the state taxes or the back taxes he was hired to do. At this point *** will not answer my text, emails or phone calls. *** is a Fraud!!!! He is not a tax accountant as he finally stated to me and my wife. He is a small business man who owns a website called *** which now is down.

This guy has disapperared with our money and probably screwed up our taxes and we will be screwed in the future. Do Not Use *** in *** for anything!!1

If you are a lawyer, please contact me right away. I want to prosecute this guy to the fullest!
