I contacted *** (the owner) about someone checking my computers as they were slow and I thought maybe they needed someone more computer savvy than me to fix them. He sent his employee ***. *** went back and forth about what they needed and assured us he could fix it. He said we needed a new separate router for a computer we had in back. he was to come back with a new router and install and finish "cleaning " the other computers. I immediately noticed that the computers were worse with them either not able to connect to the internet at all or stopping numerous times. I called *** and told him they were worse and he sent *** back. *** was here for the better part of the morning and somehow changed our password for the internet then lied and said he didn't. During this time he insisted I pay the invoice in full $474. Again after him leaving the computers were not working. We did not feel comfortable having *** come back and tried to contact *** who had ***call us. we told him we did not want him back as he had already caused enough problems. We contacted another computer technician who came in was here for an hour and fixed the entire problem. *** had put ALL the computers on one IP which is not correct and the new tech was able to fix it and all the computers with no problems. This was a charge of $150.00 I contacted *** and asked for a partial refund as *** did more damage than good but he did provide the router. *** has since refused and it is my opinion that he should at least refund the amount of $150.00 as None of the "work" was done.

be refunding you any money on original bill. If you look at the invoice
$380 dollars was to go on-sight and replace router and tune up computers. The only thing
we didn't complete was to put a different IP address on the new router (he
would have done this on return visit in about one hour). The reason we
did not do that, is that *** wanted to talk to *** to confirm there
would be no conflicts with IPs. He requested *** to call charter
and give us permission to talk to them and confirm there would be no
conflict. *** ( being very uncooperative ) was then to call *** (he
never did), and then he would come back and finish project (this is a
precaution we practice with all our customers). I did tell *** I would pay 1/2
of the bill he received from other Vendor as a courtesy for his inconvenience (and still will). We need
customers to follow our instructions and work with us for successful solutions and not jump to
negative conclusions. We've done this
work for over 25 years and never had an issue or complaint we didn’t fix.
