Computers Fixed Today agreed to replace the phone at no additional cost to the customerWhen the phone was brought in for repair originally, the customer's phone was water damaged. This caused a fault in the home buttonAfter replacing/repairing the fault, this led to other faults in
the phone's operationTo alleviate this condition and save the customer's phone, a logic board repair of the various components that were faulted was completedThis included the replacement of the LCD + Digitizer assembly, Reflow of various shorted components, as well as replacement of the back glassSince we have a long standing relationship with the customer's family, we agreed to replace the phone at no additional cost to the customerHowever, Computers Fixed Today's Phone Replacement Policy requires the following: 1. The original phone (CORE) as provided to the technician in good order with no additional damage,Replacement phone will be a working OEM Model Number in kind and likeness to the existing unitReplacement phone will be activated on the same/existing Cellular Service Provider as the CORE,Replacement phone is AS/IS with no additional warranties expressed or implied.Unfortunately, the customer is experiencing customer service issues with the original Cellular Service Provider (Verizon)Therefore, when the Replacement Phone was ordered and received, it was not with the desired carrierThis caused Computers Fixed Today to RMA the Replacement Phone and re-order for the Customer's preferred carrier (AT&T)In this case the customer preferred Cellular Provider is in no way compatible with the original Cellular ProviderThe RMA process will be complete on or before June 25, 2015.Customer satisfaction is the number one priority

Review: Okay, I went back and forth about leaving this but decided to anyway for the simple fact that I feel regardless of this outcome, people should know the possibilities of what may happen when they come here
I brought my iPhone here a full month ago to be fixedAll I wanted was my home button to be fixed because I planned on getting a replacement phone soon anyway, I knew that resetting my hardware sufficed to fixing the problem it was having, but I couldn't reset it without my home button being intactUpon dropping my phone off at his shop I asked how much he would charge and if he wanted it upfront or at the time I went to pick it upHe told me payment was due upon picking it up which I was fine withI signed a paper and went on about my business and he said he would contact me because I told him I would be back for it Friday
I got my Fridays mixed up but made sure to call him and let him know I would be there the next Friday and not that one; I assumed it would be fixed by the time I came to get it because it should've been fixed the previous week anywayIn the call I stressed that I did not want anything "extra" done to my phoneAll I needed was a quick fix and what I paid forHe agreed and said he would have it fixed by then
The day before coming to get my phone I called to make sure everything would be ready for me because I had plans the next day and didn't have time to waitIt had already been weeks and I have also seen this home button replacement being done before, its a swift processHe said "okay it will be ready just come at around [am] to make sure I have some coffee in me or something", jokinglyI said okay that's fine
I came back to get my phone on my only day off of work that week (the Friday I said I would return) at pmI had something to do in the morning so I had to come late, and I was kind of in a hurry because I had plans that nightSo when I first get in he tells me it'll be ready in minutesThen minutes later of sitting there he explains to me that the products he ordered for this job (full weeks and a couple of days ago) JUST CAME to his shopI am very upset at this point because I have things to do but he keeps assuring me he will have it fixed in no time
So at about pm (yes hours later when I have been there left and came back and sat and a half hours) he has not only changed my home button but changed the whole face (color) of my phone to a black iPhone he already had and apparently its workingSo he states after its working, "im just going to do something really fast for kicks and giggles", and I am like okay
He comes back again (it is now 9:pm) and tells me my touch screen wasn't working and he needed to reflow my device and shows me erosionI SPRECIFICALLY ASKED FOR HIM TO FIX MY HOME BUTTON WEEKS PRIOR AND HAVE ME OUT OF THERE! So now, to make up for whatever he did he needed to reflow itAt this point I am very upset, and when he asked me well you can come back tomorrow because I am not doing it tonight, I explained I had been in his shop waiting for hours with him knowing I had things to do and had 3-other customers out of that shop before me, even though he HAD two whole WEEKS to fix one thingAt this point I am tired and annoyed because I am a parent and a working woman with no phone for weeks and I expected what I paid for
He told me "It's been here weeks but without a deposit" as if that meant somethingI stated "Sir I asked you if you wanted a deposit and you told me NO and stated that I had to pay upon arrival." That being said he, went to reflow while "fixing" someone else's computer that had been there a few hours after I arrived and someone who had been there with me since BEFORE I arrived! I did pay for the service after because I simply did not feel like arguing with this manI decided if there was anything else I would ask for a refundHe did not put my camera back in my phone because at that time he did not feel like reflowing that as well I guess so I had to bring the phone back for that anywayHe kept questioning me during me saying why I wouldn't come pick it up the next day asking what I had to do and whether I did have something to do or not was none of his affair because I was a paying customer and this should've been fixed
I did not get out of there till amI was so upset that when I got home I literally cried because my whole day was spent in that shop waiting for my phone after he had more than enough time to fix itI also left with the job being incomplete with no camera in my phoneI left with about more problems than I originally had when I came in which was ridiculous! I had no front camera, no back camera
About a week later I come back to get my camera put in, and after THAT my front camera isn't working, my back camera works when it feels like it, my home button IS working but now now my off button on the top isn't!! Also my music port when I put my headphones isn't working!!
I took my phone to best buy to get it assessed and they told me it was IMPROPERLY REFLOWED!
I called and asked for a refund because I was so upsetI paid for more problems than were fixed! Can we not forget how now my phone is black when it was white? Also let me not forget to mention that my previous original phone I had for full years and dropped times and it never cracked, yet after he changes the cover it was never dropped (he argued about that with me as well) it is now cracked!
He goes back and forth and back and forth and back and forth with me about this problemHe says okay we will just replace the core, meaning the phoneI did not want a replacement phoneAnd even IN a replacement because he should feel OBLIGATED TO DO THAT after he made it worse, I want my $backI went out and bought another phone to hold me over while the phone he "ordered" cameThis man pretty much refused to give me a refund and my ultimatum was a new phone or nothingThis new phone was supposed to come unlocked so I could choose whatever carrier I wantedHe told me it would be there that TuesdayI called no answerBy the way, I always have to call him not once has he called me first except to tell me that He was ready to put my camera back in my phoneSo I call the next day (Wednesday) and he tells me that he missed it the day before because he wasn't at his shop and that it should arrive any timeHe told me he would call me back when it arrived (like he always tells me), and of course he didn'tA week later (yesterday) I had to call him AGAIN and ask about what was going on
He told me that the phone he got was indeed NOT unlocked and it was set up for Verizon which was a carrier I did NOT want and already haveHe said it would be better if he knew what carrier I was going to upon unlocking itI was upset because it's like: you couldn't call me and ask me that a week ago when the phone arrived?? I had to call you for you to tell me that? Instead of making any kind of complain I told him ATTI decided I am not going back and forth with him anymoreI am not calling him to check on the status of his work anymoreIt has been a whole entire month since he has been dealing with my phone and not only are matters worse but they are also unsolved
I had purchased a new phone for $and returned it when he told me the phone he was getting would be completely unlocked when it came and all I would need to do is transfer files and give him the phone he messed up because there is a core feeThere was a $restocking fee for returning the phone and also the $dollars I paid for the plan isn't refundable but in turn the ATT worker gave me the SIM card so that I would immediately be able to put it in the phone that was unlocked and my $wouldn't be wasted because my phone would be on
Now I am fearful that I know he has to unlock it, because if done wrong it can get a virus or have various other problemsHe was supposed to "fix" my grandmothers iPad and my grandfathers tv and to this day after ordering her a "new" iPad it still has major issues, and he has had my grandfathers tv for a whole year and it still isn't in the houseI am afraid I will just get another phone that would work if he has to unlock it himself
Two weeks later, I still have no unlocked phoneTo sum this up, I did not get what I paid forI spent a whole day till past midnight in this shopI have went back and forth with this man about the customer service I deserveHe is a great talker, but there is nothing to back it up.Desired Settlement: If it were ever possible I'd love to rewind time and take my phone somewhere else, but since it isn't: I STILL want my $backI would also love to have this unlocked phone as soon as possible and end this problem that has been dragged on for quite some timeHe can also call me to actually let me know the status of the situation at some point without me having to call himI just want my money back and the phone and to be done with this

Review: I bought a laptop computer and found out that it did not work to well so I took it to this place to get it fixed, I found out that it was to old and could not be fixed so they told me that

he could fix me one up and give me a new one I got that one and it does not work either I paid 350 to get my computer fixed and now I'm out 350 and no computer. I need to know what
