Parking Spot: The complainant signed an agreement to purchase the home which included a site plan addendum which had a picture of the lot and house siting as well as specific language that “Driveways may limit the size of the car, if any, that can be parked on the driveway”The agreement also states that there are not oral agreements, only written agreementsThe Complainant also inspected the property days prior to the closing of the property and deemed the grading and drive to be satisfactoryTherefore this complaint is without meritWood FlooringThe Complainant made Comstock Homes aware of the hardwood flooring concernComstock Homes has inspected the concern and reported it to the flooring company that installed the flooring productThe flooring company had an independent inspector review the concern as well as a representative of *** Industries, the flooring manufacturerWe do acknowledge that the past remedies such as adding a humidifier helped, however did not fix the problemWe apologize for the length of time it has taken thus far to resolve the issue and will work diligently to complete a resolutionPlease feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss furtherSincerely,Dennis K

issues have been remedied. I inspected the unit prior to purchasing it and was told by the Comstock agent Debbi W[redacted] that it would be sufficient and Comstock will make good on fixing the issue. In good faith I signed my agreement hoping that Comstock would be equitable to provide a parking spot and fix the issues. This is yet to be resolved. I since the day I moved in here I have made my complaint known.  To other agents Shannon M[redacted] and Teresa R[redacted]. Teresa  Comstocks  vp  wasn't even courteous enough to give me a call back.A promise made by a company verbally or in writing my Comstock agents should be honored. This is not the way to do business. I need these issues remedied. If you make a promise, honor it. It is only right

1) The materials in question are the [redacted] top-most layer of material that covers the deck, and the...

underlying plywood that could potentially have encountered degradation due to incorrect/faulty installation of the [redacted] material in the first place or incorrect maintenance by Comstock prior to the Winter season.
2) Coincidentally, Comstock did NOT provide or failed to provide the applicable [redacted] Warranty that typically comes with the purchase of any [redacted] product.

Review: Comstock advertised on the radio station at [redacted] FM homes in their subdivision "[redacted]" starting in the mid 400's and gave their phone number and website. I immediately went to their website, looked up the homes advertised,and saw it written there that the homes start in the high $600,000's. I called to check and verified that this was not a misprint on their website. Obviously, Comstock is intentionally deceiving the consumer public with blatantly false advertising!Desired Settlement: Have them remove their blatantly false advertising from the public media and give the true pricing, not something that is over $250,000 less than what they are actually charging.

I am sorry this response is late. Please accept the following:

**. [redacted] heard an ad we were running on the radio for some time. The ad is clear that it is a community in Washington DC that sells both new townhomes and single family homes. The radio ad describes that "homes" start in the "400's. We can only assume that when he went to our website that he then saw that the singles are much higher priced. We don't believe this to be misleading, and the ad encourages people to come to the project. This is so that they can see exactly what is offered at what price.
