I was scrolling Facebook and saw a paid ad for conceal and carry certification. I clicked on the link and was taken to a page that asked me to input my information and watch a video. No where in the video or ad did it tell me to check my state to make sure the certificate would be valid in my state. I went through the process and paid the fee to get my certificate. Upon receiving my certificate it said in the state of Virginia. This had not been on any of the visible parts of the process, and I did not think to check since I entered my address on the first page and it did not inform me that the certificate would not be usable in California, bit only if I traveled to Virginia. I contacted the company through email and phone. On the phone I was informed of the no refund policy. Which I did go look for and it was hard to find and I was not informed during the payment process that the fee was non refundable.

Refund I would like a full refund and for the website to make it more visible and informative about their refund policy and to make the state verification check more indepth.
Prior to beginning the course, you are asked to agree to our Terms and Conditions, where we do state a very strict no-refund policy. Once a payment has been submitted and your Certificate generated, we do not issue refunds as a legal document has been issued.
With your concern about state eligibility, we mention Virginia several times and also provide a State List for you to review to make sure that your state is recognized.
Additionally, on a previous customer service call, the customer admitted to not reading through the terms and conditions where we clearly state our refund policy.
