Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was informed it would take 30-45 days not 3 months NEVER ONCE was I informed it would take that long, this is crazy that they think they can charge me $200 for something I never cancelled I told them I wanted it they just are running a fraudulent business. I paid $600 and expect $600 refunded or the part I paid for to be delivered.
Regards,
[redacted]

1st off I would like to say initially my first and second order went well with CZP. It was my 2nd order that was messed up a little (they made it right eventually) where thing went wrong. To keep it simple they sent me a part that was in no way shape or form going to fit my car. So I called and they agreed to take the part back and refund the cost to my CC. I was told to ship it back collect but when I went to the local [redacted] store I was told that shipping collect is not an option. No problem I pay the $60.00 to ship the part in hopes they will in good faith also refund the shipping, boy was I wrong. I was basically called a liar and told the part was not defective and it was also the right part. So I guess I'm an unethical liar and they now have my $60.00. Had I known they were not going to refund shipping as well I would have just sold the parts on [redacted] or something. If you ever do business with these folks you better hope they never send the wrong part. I belong to a very large JDM club with far reaching affiliates and will make sure everyone is aware of their return policy regardless if the wrong part was sent or not.....

Client Purchased a [redacted] Long Block through us, which is built by [redacted].  This engine comes with a 1 year warranty, which covers any parts or labor that has failed or is defective.  This warranty is only covered by [redacted], and can only be redeemed by [redacted].  [redacted] policy states,...

that engine must be returned for inspection if any issue is found.  So Client returned the engine to [redacted] for Inspection.  [redacted] performed the Inspection, and did not grant warranty because of improper use of the product.  According to [redacted], they stated "Either it was a high RPM run with detonation or he had a bunch of trash in his oil from his last spun bearing combined with some long highway runs. It took out his cam journals, ALL the mains and rod bearings.  That doesn't just happen on a trip to the store."  You can tell from the pictures that the engine got really hot, which discolored the connecting Rod, and melted the bearing to the cap.  We have been using [redacted] for engine builds for 10 years now, and have yet to see a failed engine.  Unfortunately since we only sell the engines and do not manufacture them, we can only stand by what our manufactured states, and at this point, they are stating improper use and abuse.  We are working with both the manufacturer and client to try and resolve this, but a full refund would be out of the question.

Regards,

I have made 6 orders with CZP over the past couple of years and every time my orders have arrived quickly and complete.

I have also made a dozen or so phone calls in to help with vehicle issues (without plans to order parts) and they have assisted me with my questions without thought of me needing to buy something. A true sign of a respectable shop.

This place is sort of a niche shop that sells parts for certain types of cars, including the increasingly rare Nissan 300zx. I have purchased many parts over several orders for 2 such vehicles, and I've had a great experience each time. I even put in an order late Friday evening with standard shipping and they managed to get it in the mail that day and I got it Monday and installed. They carry a lot of these niche parts that a few other online stores also carry, but I purposely order from Concept Z.

Review: I ordered a JWT Pop-Charger Intake for my [redacted]. Upon receiving the product the shipping box it came in was in perfect condition and had no dents or cuts on it. I opened the box with excitement to see my new intake and was shocked to see a "Used/Damaged product" inside. I immediately contacted the " [redacted] " website and received this response " Those other scratches and dents should not be on there, but once you start installing it, you'll put your own scratches and dents to make it your own. Please remember, that he heat shield is not meant to be pretty, and can easily scratch and dent. I am not going to issue you a discount or refund. We ship these all the time and they all have scratches and dents". The problem is not the fact that the item might be seen that much because it's underneath my hood, but the fact they send USED/damaged products and don't mention it; What happens when you order a new Shift [redacted] from them and it comes to your door scratched and damaged. My car is a show car and it WILL be seen, that the heat shield as-well as intake/filter element has scratches and dents and is not considered "NEW" like they advertise. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS FROM THIS WEBSITE AS THEY CLEARLY SAY THEY SHIP DAMAGED PRODUCTS "AFTER" YOU RECEIVE THEM BUT CLAIM THEIR "NEW"Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund of 15 Dollars, which would pay for a new heat shield from a new website, I'd ask for a new replacement from this website but, I take their honestly and trust with a tiny grain of salt in comparison.

Response:

In Response to Case #[redacted], there isn't much to say. The customer complained that his heat shield for this intake arrived damaged. I requested pictures of the damage from the customer, and I could not see any physical damage to the particular price. The customer said that the scuffs and scratches on heat shield are what he was claiming the damage. Please be aware, that this is just a heat shield, meant to block the hot air from the radiator from blowing on the intake. It's not made to look pretty, it's just used for function. I then sent him pictures of all the other heat shields that we had in stock, and they all had the same minor scuffs and scratches on them from the manufacturer. We have sold over 500+ of these units to customers without a complaint. There was nothing I could do in this case, sending him a replacement would have resulted in the same outcome. If the product was actually damaged, or defective, we would have immediately sent him a replacement or refund. [redacted]

Review: I purchased a carbon fiber wing 12/3/13 and was billed right away for $597, I was called and told it would be early January to Mid January to expect the wing and I said that was fine. I have called a bunch of times since asking for proof that the wing has been shipped but have only received copies of orders placed with their vendor nothing more and no tracking. I have requested a refund and they have avoided the question, I want the product which they charged me for or I want a refund. Crazy to charge someone almost $600 and not hold up to their end very unhappy with them as a business as this was a Christmas gift which has been ruined!Desired Settlement: Refund or Product I paid for
