Express Homebuyers were EXACTLY what we needed to make the absolute BEST of a crappy financial situation that forced us to move out of our home in a hurryMatt was very up front how the process worked and then April D [redacted] called and/or emailed me regularly to keep us up to date on how things were goingWhat made the whole thing the perfect "10" experience, was when April showed up at closing, just to match a name to a faceFANTASTIC!!

Very good experienceI am very pleased with the whole process The people were very professional , April D [redacted] helped me great dealShe is a great asset to company

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: A letter was sent to [redacted] outlining the offer of $65, What is the difference between a formal offer and this offer other than a reason to get in to the house knowing they can pick it apart and formally offer a much lower priceIt was never mentioned on the phone that the 65K price was not based on looking at the property firstBait and switchAs far as disclosing anything it was clearly mentioned that the house was as is, very old and needed work, that’s why most people call we buy houses, because they need a lot of work and know there not going to get a much for themI was hesitant about calling a company like this but saw the Revdex.com rating and felt comfortable about it, but now I feel that I will not rely as much on the Revdex.com rating in the future when I contact a Business’sThe house has since got a contract from a developer for much more than their original offer of $65k and this will be my last correspondence about this matter Regards, [redacted]

Express homebuyers is efficient and reliable, we are satisfied working with them and will continue working with them in the future!

I called Express Home Buyers (EHB) after hearing their ads on the radioBrett and I talked, decided we were close enough to make it worth going furtherAfter seeing the property and discussing the pros and cons, I went with a program where EHB took over all my liabilities, removing the burden of carrying a house I was no longer living inEHB fixed up and marketed the property, and while it took longer than expected, in the end I got my check as agreedThe occasional questions/issues were handled promptly by GregI would recommend EHB to anyone needing to sell a property quickly

Polite, friendly company very easy to deal with and just an overall plesant experience

Working with Express Homebuyers was a very positive experience Their representative, April D [redacted] was great with giving out information and even better with follow up, which is always crucialKudos to April!

I had a 100% positive experience with Express Homebuyers They did exactly what they promised to do, right when they promised to do it From first contact and sale negotiation with Matt F [redacted] through closing with April D [redacted] and the title company, everything about the process was cordial but business-like, relaxed but on time Many, many thanks to Express Homebuyers

Excellent experience Fast, friendly and professional service I was given exactly what I wanted for my home and the entire process was hassle free

[redacted] called Express Homebuyers and spoke with Rob F [redacted] , an associate of Express Homebuyers, regarding the sale of his home. In this conversation Rob said the initial offer would be $65,000 based on the photos of the property (the property is currently listed on the market by [redacted] , a licensed real estate brokerage) and the condition of the home as described by [redacted] . A letter was sent to [redacted] outlining the offer of $65,000. In the first paragraph of this letter the following is written (some parts written in bold in actual letter): "The provisions of this letter of intent are not binding and are subject to an Inspection of the Property and execution of a Purchase Agreement (the “Purchase Agreement”), as hereinafter described and generally consistent with the provisions hereof." Not only was this written in the offer letter, it was also explained to [redacted] on the phone that our offer was contingent on inspecting the property. Furthermore, [redacted] emailed us on August 28 and Tom P [redacted] , Express Homebuyers Acquisitions Manager, responded with the following: "***, Thanks for the email. We would need to see the property in person to make a formal offer. I can have Rob go by on Monday or he can meet youTuesday if you’d like to meet in person. Rob could go over all the details etc. Let us know how you’d like to proceed. Regards, Tom P [redacted] " As you can see it clearly says: “We would need to see the property in person to make a formal offer.” Upon inspection of the home there were several issues that [redacted] did not disclose to Rob - sloping floors towards the center of home, all windows need to be replaced (he said they were vinyl windows, which they were but in very bad shape), awkward 1st floor layout that would require some re-framing, drop ceilings in 100% of interior. All of these factors added significantly to the estimate that Rob had initially calculated to renovate the home. Because of the significant increase in renovation cost, our offer had to be reduced. In conclusion, nothing was ever signed between Express Homebuyers and [redacted] . We apologize for the misunderstanding and any inconvenience this situation has caused [redacted] . We do feel that we were upfront and clear in explaining that we had to inspect the property before a formal offer could be made.

I knew at least a year ago that I would not be selling my house in the ‘traditional’ way Problem was, no one I knew had ever done this, so I had no guidelines of who to go to or where to start Flash forward to several days’ worth of online searching, and I found Express Homebuyers, and I don’t think I could have been luckier to choose themFrom the second I hit “submit” giving them my basic contact information via their website, my phone was ringing less than seconds later When they say Express, they mean it! Elapsed time from the day I met my sales rep to the day I was in the title company’s office signing the settlement papers was daysEveryone I worked with was so helpful and accommodating, I could not have imagined it going any smoother I believe they offered me a fair price for the condition my house was in and they were great at being very communicative and explaining every step of the process clearlyI have already recommended them to several of my co-workers and cannot say enough good things about them If you are in any type of situation where you don’t want/need to sell traditionally with real estate agents, etc., you should absolutely give them a try

Great company! Great experience first class!

I have a great success story with Express HomebuyersI received my return profit after selling to Express Homebuyers that I put into the house as a downpayment, and some work that I did in the houseI plan on calling them again as a 79% chance of buying another house of mineThank the Company for their extra hard work! Catherine

I called Express Home Buyers after there had been a plumbing situation that was a last straw in dealing with my homeI had been daydreaming about downsizing for some time and thought of the jingle in their commercialsThey exceeded my expectations in how quickly, fuss free and accommodating they wereI would recommend them to anyone who will accept a fair, no haggle price

Mr, [redacted] ,This letter is in response to a complaint your organization received on May 8, from [redacted] involving "advertising issues." The assigned id is According to our detailed records, [redacted] contacted us on January 27, via our Website when he requested a quote on his property at [redacted] ***, Arlington, VA.We spoke with him on January 27, and at that time we were not able to make an offer for this property that was satisfactory to himOf note, his property was listed with a real estate agent when he contacted us.We called [redacted] in March 4, to see if the property had soldWe were unable to reach him and, as per our standard practice, left a voice mail and sent a text message to follow up.We called [redacted] again on April 6, to follow up again and reached his voicemail againWe left a voicemail and sent a text message to foll[redacted] Responded with a text back on April 6th saying, "Please take me off your distribution list or I will report you to the Revdex.com." I had a wonderful experience with Express Home Buyers I needed to sell my mom's house and once I made the call, someone quickly got back to me and arranged to see the property They made an offer and we signed the papers to sell Everyone I worked with from those in the office, to the person I met with to see the house, to the settlement company was pleasant, supportive and easy to work with

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Nothing has been resolved Express Homebuyers are stating that they did nothing wrong & [redacted] says that they reported the cost of the house Looks like both businesses are saying that nothing was done on their endBut I am stuck w/a huge tax bill which I definitely didn't profit from the funds that the IRS thinks I didI have a question for Express Homebuyers why is their profit looking like I had a mortgage w/them instead of two lines showing where I received $& they received $184, Express Homebuyers said that they didn't actually purchase my house but I have a Purchaser's agreement If they didn't purchase my house how were they able to put a lien on it & profit over $184k If they didn't purchase my house then the $184k should be mineJust seems like whole transaction if very FISHY!!!! I am seeking legal assistance in this matter (something I can not afford) but just another example of a Big Business taking advantage of a situation not willing to admit that the deal was structured wrongIf there could be a mediator where all the parties could give their details of this transaction, because somewhere something went terribly wrong Regards, [redacted] ***

My experience with Express Homebuyers was really great from start to finish As I am getting older, I was finding it more difficult to keep up with the yard and the responsibilities of home ownershipI had seen their ads offering a quick, hassle-free sale (they pay settlement costs, no realtor fees, condition, etc.) so I thought I would try them firstThey were true to their word, and I found them to be extremely professional, respectful, and courteous through the entire process (and this is true for all their personnel that came in contact with me)Considering the condition of my house, they gave me a fair price, and were very flexible about the settlement date, allowing me to decide on it based on what I needed for my move They kept in touch with me regularly to let me know where we were in the whole process, and they also responded promptly when I had any questionsBut I really didn’t have to do a whole lot except show up at settlementThis freedom allowed me to better prepare for my move and my new residenceI would highly recommend them to anyoneFor me they were a true blessing

Dear Revdex.com:We are actively trying to resolve this issue with [redacted] and have asked her to withdraw her complaintWe did nothing wrong, as it is a miscommunication between the IRS and [redacted] ***, who performed the settlementOn the settlement statement *** [redacted] received $We filed and paid taxes, as our business is required, We will continue to help [redacted] resolve this issue with the IRS and provide any documentation she needs from our company
