Concepts In Concrete Corp Reviews (3)

On May 21, the contractor poured an approximate 620sq ft patio and walkway in colored concrete using 4500psi The pour dried too quickly and the contractor was not able to save the pour or finish the patio properly There is also a low spot on the patio where water pools and slopes towards the foundation of the home In an attempt to salvage the slab, the finishers returned two days later and applied a [redacted] product to try to save the finish They applied this product only to the patio area as it clearly was not working That was the last time the contractor or the finishers have been to our home As soon as we told them it could not be saved and just needed to be torn out and replaced, they turned very nasty and unprofessional We have made several attempts to reach out to the contractor to schedule a date for them to remove the patio and repour it In the beginning they said they had to work on getting funds and find new finishers (they call them subcontractors)

This company was hired to pour a new concrete patio back in march and asked for half of the money up frontThey poured the patio on April 6, and botched the pourThe finish was poor, the surface was extremely wavy and humped, and the slab sloped back into the houseAlso, even after agreeing to mask off the siding on the house, no action was taken to protect the side of the house during the pour Concrete spatter and curing compound overspray ruined the paint on the lower portion of the siding on the house When the owner came back the next day to saw cut control joints, he agreed that pour had gone badly, and that the finished product was "an embarrassment to him and his company" and that he would tear it out and re-pour it Since he was going to tear it out anyways, he did not cut the control joints
The next day, he contacted me with an idea to grind down the concrete and coat it instead of tearing it out and wanted to send someone out to see if it was possible I later tol
