05/06/2015Dear Revdex.com:In review of the complaint ***, the allegations I feel are totally unfoundedI spoke to the stylist and got an entirely different storyThe child in question was being uncooperative with the stylist (***) I don't think this mom understands just how
dangerous an uncooperative child can be in the chair, to himself and to the person performing the service. The consumer has taken it upon herself to complain to every agency she could find about this issueWe service thousands of people every week and receive very few complaints if anyI have been in business for over yearsWe did not make it to where we are today by mistreating our clientsIf she had contacted me first we may have been able to solve this issue much quicker. I will apologize to the consumer on behalf of my salons, if she feels she or her son were mistreated.I do not have the authority to issue a refund or discipline the stylist for she is an independent contractorThe consumer must take this up with the contractor.Thank You*** * ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I am slightly confused as to how you can find my complaints unfounded,  yet you offer me an apology?  That's seems slightly contradictory.   And how dare you assume that I do not know the danger of uncooperative children.  First and foremost I am a social worker,  I would love to hear your insights on child and adolescent behavior.  And most importantly if you or your stylist feel that a child is being uncooperative to a dangerous level,  then Why would you continue providing services in a dangerous situation? My child is not difficult, he is touch and sound sensitive, haircuts can be stressful for him. Kind words and a gentle touch go a long way. I contacted the salon the day after and never got a response from the owner,  and your very own receptionist confirmed that the stylist in question is not child friendly.   Clearly a refund of six dollars means nothing to me,  but if you had an ounce of compassion, you would know that most upset consumers only wants their concerns validated and an assurance that it will never happen again.   Not everyone is money hungry or sue happy.  
 Congratulations on your 40 years of perfect and successful business,  you must be proud of yourself.
