I’m a first time patient. I had made an appointment a week in advance to see a dentist on March 2nd. My appointment was scheduled 12pm. I had arrived on time. The older receptionist had an attitude, she did not make me feel welcome as a first time patient. It took an hour to get an x-ray; after the x-ray I was sent to back to the waiting room. Where I waited 2 and half hours to be called in the examination room to sit down and have a doctor come in the room to ask me my name and the severity of my pain. He then told me he will be back shortly. A hour passed and no return. I ended up walking out of the office, because I got there at 12pm and 4 hours I was still waiting to be taken care of. Horrible customer service and I will never go back. A first time experience means a lot.

Where to begin with this Dental office and their lack of "concern" for both their reputation and their clients. Two years ago I moved to the BX and was looking for a dental office, unfortunately I came across this place. I've spent over 3,000 dollars "fixing" dental issues that I had here. Fast forward a few months after my final treatment done here I moved to Queens and with that saw a NEW dentist for a cleaning etc. When I first arrived at this new dental office per usual they took x-rays etc to start a new file on me they informed me of all these procedures I would need to do such as replacing two caps because their was decay underneath them..The work that this new dental office said needed to be redone was the SAME WORK I JUST DID IN AUGUST 2017 5 months prior at " CONCERNED DENTAL of tHE BRONX" that caused me 3000 dollars!!! Clearly thats an issue, so I reached out to their office NUMEROUS TIMES. I've called, left voicemails and called some more. With this being said it took me a month to get a call back and when I did their account person ONLY REFUNDED 570$. At that point my frustration with the BX dental office was through the roof cus as months, weeks went by my teeth where literally decaying. IN 2018, the cap they did in-front of my teeth fell off ( a year later, never heard of) I had to spend 200$ for another office to re cement it . In 2019, I lost a SECOND TOOTH that had previously had a root-canal and cap done at the BX dental that they didn't do correct so my tooth underneath rotted and wasn't able to save. I am a 28yr old female who has lost 3 teeth due to the initial work NOT BEING DONE CORRECTLY!! Today present day I am now currently in 16k worth of debt because I am getting 4 new implants and an entire teeth reconstructed. My issue is I have called and reached out to this office leaving a million and one voicemails and I NEVER GET a call back! My hands are tied at this point and I don't even know the next step to take. To add insult to injury not only do they never call me back they had the audacity to send me a letter of 234.08 being in collections from this office !! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE when not only did they refund me a third of money a year prior but I've been trying for 2 years to reach out to an actual person. It disgusts me how unprofessional these people are at this dentist office. Not once have I got a call back or even an "were sorry" explaining what happened or how can we resolve it . Never in my 28years of life have I ever been in a situation like this with any company especially a dental office. Their mal practice has not only put me into debt but has caused me so much pain and suffering because I'm literally loosing my teeth because of it . AT 28! My last straw was that collection notice, I REFUSE to go unheard any longer!

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Concerned Dental Care, P.C. regarding complaint ID. Which is my constant issue with this company. Ive spent years trying to get some type of response or get to a resulition that benefits us both.Sincerely

Horrible place.
My 2 front teeth were hurting so I went in for a visit.
They took a bunch of xrays then doctor came in. He examined JUST the teeth that I said were hurting. He never bothered to do a full mouth exam because I did NOT make an appointment for a full mouth exam. He also said that I needed a cleaning before he can even examine the entire mouth.
Anyway he said my teeth are fine I just need an over the counter night guard because I grind my teeth and the pressure makes my teeth hurt. It kind of made sense. I got the night guard but 2 weeks later I'm still in pain. I went to another dentist who said I have a bad infection in these 2 teeth that is spreading to the third tooth. Have I waited much longer I would have ended in a hospital. It's fumny because I can feel the infected area through my gums. And it's big. For a dentist mot to notice that...very strange.
Also, I had to redo my xrays because concernes dental care did a poor job at taking good quality xrays.

As explained to me by Concerned Dental Care of the Upper West Side, they collect the full payment of the cost of the procedure from the patient. Once the patient's Dental Insurance company pays them, they would reimburse the amount back to the patient. I had a procedure done by Dr Joel Bryk in December , 2018 and paid 100% of the cost which was "$210". In January , 2019, my Delta Dental insurance paid Concerned Dental Care "$128", my portion of the cost would be $82. It is now July ***, 2019. Despite my insurance company's confirmation of the amount owed back to me, phone calls and emails to "Joshua C" who handles Concerned Dental Care billing, I have not yet been reimbursed the $128. Could you please help me get this sorted out with this business? Delta Dental suggested that I file a complaint with Revdex.com to get resolution as they also were met with no response from Concerned Dental Care. Thank you.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Concerned Dental Care of the Upper West Side regarding complaint ID, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

The company said they have credited the refund back to my credit card on 7//2019. However, in checking today (8/*/2019) the funds have not been credited to my card. Citi (my credit card company) asked me to check with Concerned Dental Care to see if “the funds were released yet”, which might explain the discrepancy. I am waiting to hear back from Concerned Dental Care about the fund release status. Thank you for the help.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I paid $500.00 for whitening service. They seemed to have a problem scheduling me. I asked for my money back. I paid cash in three separate payments.
I have been told they had to reach a corporate office. I have been told the check is in the mail. THey tried to say that the initial pay was a fee for the denture. It was not. M y denture was paid for by medicaid. They had me come in with my receipts. The said that they would call or e-mail about the
the refund. I made the final payment on Nov.,1918. I keep getting the runaround concerning this payment. I have heard nothing from them.

Also they changed there name to Concerned Dental care over the course of my treatment I waited 9 months for the Denture.

This business was purchased by Concerned Dental Care. They have told me that the check is in the mail on several occassions, and that the have to contact their coporate office , on several occassions.I went in with my cash receipts, they bsaid because of the the two entities they had to find out how they wanted to handle it and that they had my number and my e-mail. I have not heard from them concerning my $500.

on April , 2018 I had an appointed at Concerned Dental Care. I met with the dentist who immediately looked at my previous record and said that according to our records you have to get 17 teeth removed because they are loose. He said this without examining my mouth. After another dentist came and said for me to see their Financial Advisor, Margie R. She immediately sat me in her office, asked how is my credit I told her fine and she showed what had to be done and that if I applied for the Care Credit Card I would not have to pay interest for a year. Yes I did sign for the credit card, my bill totaled $4775.00. This included temporary dentures, upper and lower. Seventeen (17) extractions, scaling and root 2 times. Partial upper cast, combo denture, partial lower cast, combo denture.

Well this did not sit well with me, I called my daughter who mom get a second opinion. She gave my the name of her dentist, I called for consutation appointment. On April *** I had an appointment with the other dentist, I did not tell him the findings of the previous dentist. After his findings I showed him what the other dentist said needed to be done. Totally two (2) different findings.

When I got home I called Ms R and told I would not be needing their services and I explained to her why. She proceeded to tell she can have all but $1400.00 removed from the credit card because the temporary dent have already been made. I agreed and stated I will pay that, they didn't offer me the dentures It was a couple of days later that it dawned on me whether or not they had the dentures made. I called and said I would pick them up, they said fine for the next day. When I got to the office I had to wait approximately 1 1/2 hrs for someone to see me. The manager finally came out , I explained my reason for discontinueing their service. She gave me the temporary dentures and I left

I had to have gum surgery, I only had to have two (2) teeth removed and things are quit well for now. As matter of fact my last visit on October , 2018 my dentist was happy because my gums have improved quite a bit, no further extractions needed at this time. I just see the hygentist every three (3) months.

After some thought I feel that Concerned Dental should reimbuse me the $1400.00 because they did not give me an option when there were options available. They hurry you to sign up for the credit card so the can immediately get paid without the services being rendered. Yes, I do have the temp dentures in the same bag they gave it to me in, I was going to investigate whether or not that is the actual cost to make them does that price also include them putting them in my mouth, because if it does they owe me because they were never put in.

Your help will be greatly appreciated in this matter. Respectfully yours.
