*** ***'s statement is inaccurate on two important points
First, he did not sign up for "Wolfgang's Vault." We do operate a site by that name, but he purchased a Concert Vault membership on 1/**/He has never purchased anything at Wolfgang's VaultHe states he cancelled a Wolfgang's Vault membership, but he never purchased such an item
Second, we indicate clearly in our purchase process, purchase confirmation receipt email and in our Terms of Use that Concert Vault memberships agree to automatic renewal, unless canceled prior to the renewal date posted on the "My Account" page on Concert VaultAll members can cancel their membership easily from their Account page before renewal comes dueHis membership was not canceled prior to his renewal date, so it was renewed on 1/**/
*** *** did contact our customer service on 1/**/2014, stating that he did not want to continue his membership and requesting a refundAs stated in our Terms of Use, we will not offer refunds on memberships that were not canceled prior to the renewal date
We are sorry that *** *** is unhappy with this, but we believe our membership renewal policy is fair and clearly communicatedWe stand by our policy and will not be issuing a refund

The policy that this company employs is clearly unethical, prays on the forgetfulness of users, and every other business I have ever entered into membership with, that has any sort of "automatic renewal" policy, either sends reminders well in advance of charging one's credit card, and/or honors promp cancellation requests within a reasonable amount of time
The charge on my account was listed as "pending" when I contacted them about canceling, and despite what they say, I did in good faith believe that I had cancelled my membership with them ahead of time
They state that I never signed up for a site called Wolfgang's Vault, but the charge on my credit card statement from this company is clearly labeled as "Wolfgang's Vault", a fact that I can easily prove with my bank statement I still receive promotional emails from "Wolfgang's Vault", as well as "Concert Vault"
I have already flagged them as a fraudulent charge due to unethical business practices through my bank account, and regardless of their unwillingness to do the right thing and refund my membership fee, I will not be held responsible for paying this charge
It is sad that they need to resort to such petty business behaviour, rather than offering a service that is worth using, and treating customers with respect

We have issued [redacted] a refund and cancelled his membership. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for us and we feel that honoring his request is the best way to achieve this.
We stand by our membership policy, which we believe is fair and clearly communicated in our purchase process, purchase confirmation receipt, and in our Terms of Use. Concert Vault memberships agree to automatic renewal unless canceled prior to the renewal date posted in the "My Account" page on Concert Vault.
He did not sign up for Wolfgang's Vault, but Wolfgang's Vault is an affiliated site which handles the billing for Concert Vault, and that name does appear on our customers' credit card statements. This also is clearly stated in our Terms of Use and Help pages, and in our order confirmation email.
We hope this resolves this matter to everyone's satisfaction.
