To Whom It May Concern: Many months ago my Project Manager met with the [redacted] s and agreed to try and help them with their lossThere house sat for a long time after two tornadoes hit their homeUnfortunately, they did not have any insurance of their ownTheir Mortgage Company had put a force placed insurance policy put on this home, due to the negligence of the homeowner, which makes things even more complicatedThis is very important because, Mrand Mrs [redacted] are not the named insured, the Mortgage Company isThereby, they can’t make decisions like demanding the insurance company to come out and reinspect the loss because they missed things in the estimate (Will discuss this point later) The insurance company has imposed two claims, so now they’re responsible to pay for two (2) deductibles, totaling $7080.00, which we were informed up front that they could not payThey claim more damage occurred two weeks later via a second storm and the customer did not cover his roof at allHe left the roof wide open and never hired anybody to close it inNow, he has two deductibles due to his negligence, per the insurance company We told the [redacted] s we will meet with their insurance company, look over the estimate, see what they missed, and complete a new estimateThis is where the first problem comes inWe found that $13,of line items were missedAfter numerous calls to several people, including the bank and the representative for the claim, they came back and stated that the original estimate includes everything they are willing to pay forI asked them many times for a meeting at the job site to show us how and where each line item was covered in the estimate, to which they declinedThey refused to come out and stated the insured could be the only one to request such meetingAt this point, we had no authority to demand a meetingThe problem is, again the named insured is the bankThey not only have limited experience in claims handling, but, further refused to demand the insurance company go out to re-inspect damages that we found they initially missedThe bank only cares about their interest and that is approximately a $40,amount, so there’s no care or urgency on the work that needs to be completed, not to mention, they’re currently holding more than what’s owed to the bankThe [redacted] s also made attempts to get this done, which didn’t happenSo, right off the top, we are at a $20,deficit to complete the job in full and this does not many other items which will be discussed further To help resolve a small portion of the deficit, Mr [redacted] and my Company agreed to trade out the deductibles for work which he could perform, such as paintingHowever, there’s the larger problem of missed items which is too much to trade outAlso, as we got into the project and did demolition of all the damaged material, we found the code violations in the home to include plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building code issues, that again is not coveredI have been working with [redacted] and always felt we could work things outHe told me yesterday, that he has moved out of his home and sincerely apologizes for the actions of his wifeHe says he can’t stop her and doesn’t know what to doHe also stated his church was helping outI wanted to get bids on all the repairs to see how much we could do with the limited amount of funds they haveThen, Mrs***, who I have never met, told my project manager to never come backShe does not understand the process and I have asked many times for a representive to talk to me and her, like an attorney or a friend that could explain things to herHer husband tried and failedWe have met with many people on this file, different adjusters, as well as many phone conversations with inspectors, bank representatives, the agent/proctor/insurance company, and sub contractors The largest problem is the amount of money that they will need to complete the very bare minimum of repairs so the home is habitableAlthough my Company agreed to do the repairs on their home for an agreed price of $76,322.06, as per the insurance companies estimates, which is an amount that excludes the referenced deductibles, code violations and further structural damage, we are at a stand-still until this can be resolvedInitially, the [redacted] s understood and were working with us to discuss the matter with the appropriate companiesWe had only been communicating with Mr***, who seems to understand the processHowever, we are now having problems not only with communicating with the [redacted] s, but, we need their participation in allowing us to proceed with getting proposals for what can be taken care of with the amount of money on their claimBut, we also need their assistance in coordinating benefits and subcontractors’ job scheduling At this point, we have spent more time and money in responding to frivolous and countless complaints to the Revdex.com on occasions, and now this complaint to the [redacted] There’s been an exorbitant amount of time on phone calls with Mrand Mrs [redacted] to which, has led us hereIn our humble opinion, they need legal counsel of some sort to be able to explain our position, which is thisWe want to get the home completed to the best of our ability, for the amount of $76,322.06, per the insurance specificationsAs of now, over $30,has been spent to do demolition, obtain dumpsters, start structural framing and roofing, and to get rid of mold throughout the home (which was due to their lack of mitigation when the original claim happened)The cost noted above does not include meetings, scheduling, hours on the phone to various companies on the [redacted] s behalf, rewriting the estimates for the insurance company and meeting with the City to prevent them from condemning their houseThere’s also the issue of repairs that need to be done which are not included in the insurance estimate If you require any additional information or have questions, we are available to respond via phone or email Thank you, [redacted]

Concierge was hired to repair our home due to water damage The work was sub standard, they did not respond in a timely manner to our calls, they did not show up for work when they said they would and the products they used to replace damaged materials were sub-standard and inferior The hardwood they used to replace our floors has buckled throughout the house and they refuse to replace it These people are frauds

Mrs [redacted] and her husband are very nice people I will say that my project managers, and myself have been to her home on many occasions to discuss her very small loss Her insurance scope is very easy to complete, but, Mrs [redacted] had to make her selections for flooring, and a vanity, that's what's taken so long to this point She added additional flooring work beyond the insurance scopeMy flooring sub had met with her on many occasions because she changed her mind on what she wanted for flooring My last communication with her after she finally made her selection and gave her deposit was to let her know that her tile was available and we wanted to schedule that portion of her project The next day is when she wanted to cancel If I could cancel the tile order I would, but, it's already paid for Nonetheless, if I could cancel I would need to charge her for the estimate fee, the many trips out to her for my staff and my sub and the drywall patch that's already been done

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The reason I don't agree with them are as follows The first time they came to my house I was at work and they did not schedule it prior to coming to the house, the second time they came it was scheduled and then rescheduled by them at which time I did meet with them The flooring guy came the same evening with a few floor samples and I picked one and then I did indeed change my mind, he then brought some more samples to me at my work as it was close to where he picked the samples up and was more convenient for him The next time someone came to my house was to have me pick out grout and to get a deposit for the floor work to be done, I did not hear from them for another week and when they emailed about scheduling the work to be done, I responded to them asking again (I had inquired on numerous occasions about this) if they had been in touch with my adjustor and they, once again, did not respond to that question as they never did try to contact him even though they had told me in writing on other occasions they were waiting to hear back from the adjustor on the The deposit I gave them was for the tile work to be done and there is a clause on their signed form that states a refund can be given if no work has been started and NO work was started They are very challenging to work with and I don't want to have to do business with someone I can't trust I still request my full deposit for the flooring be returned to me They can send me a bill for the drywall work that was done and I will gladly pay for that once I get my deposit backI find it hard to believe that a business would actually be this unprofessional and try to force me into using their services when I have been very clear to them that I no longer want to do business with them I find it more appalling that they will not refund my deposit but instead try to keep itVery disappointing that there are actually people that operate in this manner Regards, * [redacted]
