Concord Parking Reviews (42)

I arrived at Central City mall where the parking says 3 hours of free parking just before 9am but did not realize the mall didn't open until 10am. I left and went for a coffee until the mall opened at 10am which is when I returned, and then I shopped for 2.5 hours until 12:30pm. I found an $80 parking violation ticket on my dash and feel that a warning would be appropriate, but an $80 ticket is not reasonable. (Violation # CCXXXXXXXXX)

Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2019/07/16) */
Hello ***,

Upon looking into this, we see that you had filed a dispute with us, but we did not receive a response from you.

The 3 hour restriction at Central City is not meant to penalize those shopping in the mall. This time frame is in place to deter individuals who are using this facility for purposes other than shopping. Our parking enforcement uses license plate recognition and your plate has been registered that day at 9:03:47am and again later at 12:13:51pm.

Your free parking begins when you first arrive on site and does not reset or stop if you leave the property. As a work around for those who are here for shopping purposes you can submit your disputes with photos of receipts for purchases made that day we can reconsider these violations on a case-by-case. Please retain any shopping receipts you may have moving forward, they always assist if there are any issues with violations exceeding the time limit.

As this is your first ticket. We have reduced it to a zero dollar warning, no amount owing.

Thank you,
Concord Parking

Hello ***

The reason this violation was issued, is because you were observed by security on site parking your vehicle and walking off the property.

Please be advised that the parking in this area is for patrons of the Central City. Please see the signage from this lot attached which clearly states this.

We have reduced this violation to a $0.00 warning for you so that you can be aware of the rules and regulations. Please lookout for signage when parking in the future.

Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /(2000, 16, 2019/07/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

On June 13, 2019, I received a parking violation ticket (# CCXXXXXXXXX) alleging that I parked for over 3 hours at *** in Surrey, BC.

Concord states that they scanned my licence plate both in the morning at around 11:36 AM and in the evening at around 6:44 PM. However, what actually happened was I stopped for only about 1 hour in the morning to have breakfast at one of the restaurants inside ***, drove away to do other things for about 7 hours, then came back in the evening to have dinner at the same restaurant as the one in the morning. For dinner, I parked for about 2.5 hours. Therefore, I never parked for more than 3 hours at once.

I went onto their website and filed an appeal by providing screenshots of my dash cam footage, including the date and time stamps, to show where I drove that day. I received a response stating that my appeal was denied, despite the evidence I provided.

Then, I submitted a screenshot of my credit card statement showing that I did indeed eat at one of the restaurants inside *** on that day. However, it has been a week since I made that submission and have yet to receive any kind of response.

I would be happy to submit the same or even more evidence if needed, but my account on their website does not seem to even work anymore.

Concord, please get in touch with me so that we may work together to solve this in a fair, just, and expeditious manner.

Hello ***,

We would like to extend our apologies for the delayed response to your recent violation dispute.

Upon review, we see that a Disputes Administrator had waived your violation on June 18th, however, they failed to inform you of this.

The evidence you provided in your appeal was more than sufficient, and again we apologize that this was not resolved as efficiently as it should have been.

We can confirm the violation is question is now VOID.

We thank you for reaching out and providing your feedback.

I have been coming to Metrotown Shopping centre for 25 years, three days a week and am a long paying customer to many of the businesses here.To much of my suprise to find a 40.00 Ticket on my car.And the reason being my vehicle was on Hatchline.I was parked in a parking space and my right side was touching the hatchline, because the car next to me was parked so close on the line I was worried he would ding my door.I wasnt blocking any body or entrances.I tried to contact the company they take no calls and had to go online to I open an account to dismiss this ticket, still could not go through after doing everything they say to do.

Hi ***,

Many thanks for providing your violation number.

We have looked into this and have found that your vehicle was issued this violation, as it was parked entirely across the hatch lines, sticking out onto the lane where traffic was oncoming.

As this is your first ticket, we have reduced it to a $0.00 warning. Please ensure you stay within the correct stalls to avoid receiving anymore violations.

Please be advised we do accept calls to our general line: XXX-XXX-XXXX. Our representatives can always answer questions, or point you in the best direction if you are having trouble disputing a violation.

On May 2, 2019 I stopped at *** @ *** Mall ***, Surrey, BC my receipt shows 13:13 May 2, 2019 when I exited the store and drove to Dollar Tree @ 15150 18 Ave, Surrey, BC receipt shows time at 13:40 PM May 2, 2019 left the store and went home. I later returned to *** Mall at 4:00 PM to pickup an item at *** which I forgot to get earlier receipt shows time @ 4:35 PM May 2, 2019. Got in my car to drive home and there was a ticket on my windshield for $50. I have photo copies of all the receipts if needed I couldn't find anywhere to upload onto the complaint form.
The Concord Parking Violation number on the ticket is *** dated May 2,2019 @ 4:35 PM Mark time: 1:11 PM
I also tried to file a dispute with Concord Parking .

I tried the phone number on the ticket 604-630-3915 to dispute and received only a voice mail saying fill out a complaint form at www.concordparking.com and enter your violation notice details. There was nothing on the web site advising where to go to dispute the ticket.

Hello ***,

Thank you for providing all of the information pertaining to your violation dispute, including the copies of your shopping receipts.

The time limit at the mall is not meant to penalize patrons of the mall, but to deter individuals who may be using the parking for other reasons. We understand that more than one trip can be made to these locations in one day. As you have kindly provided receipts from the day of your violation, it has been cancelled.

The reason our Disputes system is done online, is to ensure all disputes are documented in writing. If you happen to have any issues in the future, we do have our contact information on our website under 'Contact Us', our representatives are always happy to assist with any inquiries/issues.

My friends and I are celebrating my post- birthday dinner at the *** restaurant in ***. We all carpooled and used my car. I parked in customer parking lot. After a few minutes, one of my friend needs to go early and I offered to drive them home. Then, I drove back to the restaurant and obviously parked in the same parking lot. As we are heading back to the car after dinner, I got a ticket. I'm a customer and I believe that I shouldn't been issued a ticket, and I am also aware of the time limit. I'm trying to dispute the ticket online, but it wanted me to create an account with them. Which I am not very comfortable.

We have looked into this and found that your vehicle was not registered on the day this violation was issued. However, we do see you have registered your vehicle at this location regularly and appreciate that it may have slipped your mind on this occasion, or a typo may have been made when entering the plate number.

Please be advised that we have cancelled this ticket.

Thank you,

I got a violation ticket from Concord Parking indicating "SOLO parked in CoOp Stall". This was my very first time parking in that area and there were no explanations of what do they mean by writing CoOp on a stall. It made sense that I could park there if I was using the businesses in that park area. I was parked there for a few minutes. The way the notice was placed on my windshield was very unprofessional and I did not notice it until I got back to my office's parking lot. I was trying to dispute this tivket, but when I got through the hoops they have for disputing on their website, I saw that they require my address, and phone number for me to be able to file a complain. This to me is totally unnecessary. I do not want to provide these information.

Hi,

Violation #: BOSXXXXXXXXX

Regards

While shopping at Metrotown Centre I parked in the underground parking area. Before heading upstairs to shop I took a photo of my car in the parking spot. This is a common practice for me to help remind me where I parked. When I returned from shopping there was a $50.00 ticket on my windshield. The ticket states I was parked in a reserved area. This is not true and I have a photo to prove there was no sign indicating this. I emailed the company with photos and no response. It's been a week and a half still no response from them. I called and there is no way to leave a message. I respect reserved parking spots and would never have parked there if that was the case!

It's unfortunate that it had to come to involving the Revdex.com but I'm glad I took the time to do this.

Their rules are not clear enough and they give you a ticket right away. Their rules live by their own company, they are not clear to outsiders.

Their instructions of parking "3 hours was not clear" Concord Parking issued me a ticket at 2:21pm, I arrived around 1pm! There were no clear signs of parking is provided on level 5, it is only written in the ticket they give you when you violate the rules.

I usually pay the parking when it is clear that there's a pay parking stall machine in the parking lot but with this parking lot, there wasn't one and I got ticketed for that.

The ticket is CCXXXXXXXXX, I emailed for support yet I got dismissed twice by Concord parking employees. First, I had to try 13 times through the phone just to speak with a customer representative, however I did not get helped. Second, through the email: I tried to dispute it in many ways to work out an agreement but Concord parking company has a really unprofessional way of treating people who not customers and I myself work in almost the same profession but never treat non-customers like this.

The initial response by one of the customer representative is:

The 3 hour restriction at Central City is not meant to penalize those shopping in the mall. This time frame is in place to deter individuals who are using this facility for purposes other than shopping. Our parking enforcement uses license plate recognition. Your free parking begins when you first arrive on site and does not reset or stop if you leave the property. As a work around for those who are here for shopping purposes you can submit your dispute again with photos of receipts for purchases made that day we can review your ticket further. If you are an employee or Student at or near Central City please mention this as there are alternate options for you.

***@concordparking.com

I then provided a proof of employee but I got dismissed instead, the following customer representative avoided my proof of employee and won't provide me an alternative option of what first responder said.

Please submit a receipt or a bank statement that has been blacked out with only the part that shows a payment at the mall. If you have none please settle the amount at concordparking.com

1. Although it has been closed now, I did look into this violation, and it appears it was resolved on August 31, 2018, by means of cancelling the ticket. This was done by our disputes administrator.

Concord Parking Review:

A couple days ago I received a ticket from Concord Parking in [redacted], [redacted]. There is a 4 hour parking limit, and I moved my car before my time run out but I was ticketed either way. I purchased a couple things from the mall, and wanted to appeal this ticket, but it was impossible. In my opinion, there website is built so that a "customer" can't appeal.

One of the first steps is creating an account, but I couldn't fill some of the mandatory fields because there were no options that fitted my situation. Specifically, the website asked me to indicate where the event happened, and Park Royal was not an option. I was surprised the appeal process and how hard it is to file a complaint; it was impossible for me to do it. I did not expect much from a company that seems to threaten their "customers" with passing on their tickets to collection agencies, but I hoped that at least I would be able to appeal.

I had to pay because I needed to go to the mall the next day, and did not want my car to be towed, but I completely disagree with the customer relation services of this company. I think it is unfair to make the appeal process nearly impossible, [redacted] In the other hand, their payment process is straight forward, and does not require to create a user. I took screenshots of the appeal process if evidence is needed.
